- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Every shooting star reminds me when Hollywood lost the brightest That shine, that spark, The sun set too soon that night Here's to, Here's to you, And we'll raise our drinks one last time I never thought I'd have to say this, (I never thought I'd have to say goodbye) One life lost, a thousand memories fade in (Your memory will never fade in mine) You opened the door to show me there was hope, So I'll take it and run to show the world, so they will know, Your fire won't burn, burn out And I hope heaven needs you more than I do now Every shooting star reminds me when Hollywood lost the brightest That shine, that spark, The sun set too soon that night - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Bitting her lip Rikki leaned against one of the buildings she was walking pass her foot lifted as she struggled to arrange the shoe to be more comfortable cover more.. Anything really. The heel was almost gone their was already two spots where the heel of her foot could be seen and her finger wiggle in. Pebbles were continually making there way into the shoes resulting in her having to dig them out.

Groaning slightly as she placed her foot back onto the ground Rikki bounced from foot to foot wincing slightly before begining to walk again. The sky was already turning grey and the sound of thunder echoing through the air. She needed to make it back to the bridge or something before it started raining.

The t-shirt she wore was to thin to protect against the rain or even how cold it was going to get. Yet she hadnt been out here enough to have gotten enough clothing to be prepared for this. The last time she had, had to deal with the rain she had gotten sick coughing for weeks her chest problems only seeming to get worse in the time. She had been about ready to give up. Or at least would have been if she was the kind of person to give up.

If there was anything she rememebered though it was one thing, she didnt give up. Okay maybe there was more then one thing but that was one of them things. That didnt change the fact that she didnt want to go through the events again though. The soft drop of rain landing on her shoulder had her looking up briefly before taking off running. The feel of her heels hitting the pavement had her resisting the urge to wince with each footstep still she kept going.

Practically slidding in under a bridge as soon as she found it. It wasnt the one she usually stayed under. Infact it wasnt the best one to be under from the look of it. There was a small cement area that was big enough for maybe two other people then a big hill of mud heading down to the river below torrents of water making it seem almost like a waterfall on each side of were she sat.

Her arms wrapped tightly around her legs the ragged jeans thin enough she could almost feel the goosebumps on the as she shivered her head burried into the top of her knees as she tried her best to conserve heat.
