This list was slaved over by your admin Ellie so if you try to steal, she will shank
you mercilessly. Base was coded by A MINOR BIRD @ Caution 2.0. Changes to
houses, ages, switch genders, etc can easily be made by sending Ellie or Seth a PM at their
admin accounts. Adults are easily playable as well and can be added to the list by
following the instructions on the second to last post.

NOTE: Basically all 18 year olds (and a small few of 19 or 17 year olds) were part of
the graduating class of 2024, so please keep that in mind.

2nd NOTE: Whatever year your character is in, they cannot be be a year younger. Example:
7th years enter the school year at age 17, because no matter what, when your character got
their letter, they were 11. Not 10. Eleven. Just to clear it up since I'm seeing that on applications
but it doesn't fit with the set rules of Hogwarts education.

So, if you can't tell, most of our originals have been added to this list because
we like to make everyone feel special here at Your Black Heart. If you make an
original character, just follow the procedure and the admins will add the family,
whether or not your character has siblings. The only major rules are:
YOUR ORIGINAL IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE PUREBLOODED AND CANNOT
BE RELATED TO ANY MAJOR HARRY POTTER CANON FAMILY. Originals can be
vampires, werewolves, exchange students, adults, and even squibs, but because
purebloods are slowly dying out, they WILL NOT be accepted. And the admins don't
want any weird plots about Sirius Black's secret love child and grandchild. That's
for fanfiction.;]

RESERVE YOUR CANON
Reservations last FIVE DAYS from the time you post in here.
NO COMPETITIONS; they stress everyone out; trust me. You can
only extend it if a: you have informed the admins of a valid absence
and/or b: no one else has expressed interest in the character. Guests may
now reserve canons, but we're going to be strict with the amount of time
you have to make the account before the character is freed up again.
