There are some simple guidelines to follow regarding this section of the board. They are here to avoid headaches, and to keep the advertising section neat and tidy which in the end benefits you as well as the people using our RP.

• Create only one topic. You can bump the topic if you wish, but do not create a new one. Bumps are only permitted once per month, and must contain additional information about your site. Replies from the topic starter consisting of only the word "bump" or any derivative thereof will result in topic deletion.
• You may not advertise any site that offers a paid service. If you are making money off of your site, then you need to pay for advertising space.
• A description of what your site entails is not totally necessary, however it is recommended for more traffic.
• Please keep images in your post to a minimum, and please host them somewhere other than this board. The image space available to us is for RP use only.
• Please post responsibly in here. We will not allow advertisements that are offensive in nature, include pornography, or link to an offensive site without warning. Any posts that violate this rule will be deleted as soon as they are found or reported.
• Please advertise your graphic services in the graphics board. It is there so that people who are looking for this service will find it more easily.
• Members with more than 50 posts will be able to have their ad pinned provided it fits within the guidelines laid out by this post. Only RP posts count toward your post count (ie posts in The Real World section do not count.)

We feel that these guidelines should cover most eventualities, however we, the administrators of this board, reserve the right to change the rules without warning. We also reserve the right to remove advertisements based on content, such as offensive subject matter.

If you have a dispute regarding advertisement, you can PM an administrator to discuss how we can come to a satisfactory compromise, however you must be willing to give and take. Not all disputes will result in the reinstatement of the advertisement, and as we do not keep a backup copy of your post, you are responsible for reposting your ad to fit within the guidelines.
