Jamie is always seen as a hardworking slayer. Despite her size she always tries her best to keep up with the older slayers. She is conscious of her ability and often assumes that the others are looking down on her and being critical of her performance. She is upfront and honest with people though and is never afraid to hide who she is.
She is also mean and aggressive when she needs to be. Whether its fighting or making love she shows her passion to the activity. Since returning to New Orleans though she is trying to make a change and be more confident in herself and her abilities.

Jamie's first trip to New Orleans was a unique experience. She ended up in extreme conflicts with another slayer, James McCoy. This made her life difficult as she often felt undermined by him and the other older slayers. She was rather young at the time she first lived in New Orleans. She ended up leaving because she just couldn't handle all of the stress that living with older slayers brought.
After leaving New Orleans she went back up to New York and started to do slaying there. It wasn't anything like the style of the New Orleans. The vampire and wolf population was dramatically less and it made it easier for her to cope as there were less slayers around. She ended up bulking up her skills and working on her abilities and endurance. She traveled over America for a bit and even took a short dip in Mexico before deciding to return to New Orleans.
She felt like there was a calling. She knew that the supernaturals must've been acting up again. Jamie's skills had improved and so now that she has returned she plans on showing that she has what it takes to keep up with the others.
