	Sookie Stackhouse She's a telepathic waitress that works at Merlottes. She is dating Bill Compton, a vampire. Her play by is Anna Paquin. She is caring and is very partial to vampires, being she is dating one. She can hear people's thoughts, but is learning to shut out people's thoughts now. She loves being around vampires being she can't hear their thoughts and its relaxing to her. Her grandmother was killed by Rene'. She is also best friends with Marnie O'Malley and Tara Thornton
	Bill Compton A vampire that is in love with Sookie Stackhouse. He is very protective of her and sacrificed himself once before to save her. He has a conscience and doesn't always agree with the vampire ways. he was a solder during the civil war and fought. He had tried to break ties with his creator, but she still is around.
	Sam Merlotte Sam owns Melotte's bar. While he still cares alot about Sookie, he now has feelings for Marnie O'Malley, one of his new waitresses who replaced those who were killed. Marnie knows what he is and the two are very close. He is just scared to tell her, being he had bad experiences with falling for women. one of which was like him, but followed the maenad.
	Jason Stackhouse Sookie's brother who is a bit of a sex addict, and works during the day on a road crew. He is impulsive which puts him into a lot of situations. He is all for werepanthers and currently loves Crystal, a werepanther. He protects the hotshot community of the werepanthers now. He still feels vampires are not all evil.
	Eric Northham Eric is the 'sheriff' of this district. He likes Sookie and wants her and wants Bill out of the way. He does show some 'compassion' for humans to a point. He trusts Bill and runs Fangtasia a bar in Sheveport.
	Jessica Hamby Jessica is a newly turned vampire. Bill is her maker. She and Sookie get along real well. She's only 17 when she was turned so she has a bit of that rebellious streak in her as well and can't control her impulses.
	Pam Ravenscroft Pam works with Eric at Fangtasia. She's kinda like Eric's 'second in command' if you will. She can be witty and sarcastic at times as well. .
