Elias Lachlan Underwood of the Underwood family. Something he is not at all proud of considering who his brother has turned out to be. His power is known as innate capability or intuitive aptitude. You see he can instantly learn and understand the complexity and exactness of organisms, objects, and even powers without the need of long-term or special education. He’s the second youngest son of the family and is probably the one with the most sanity. The thing that sets him apart from his family is his heart. He’s kindhearted, caring, and doesn’t approve of his family’s business the least.

When Elias was younger he broke apart from the family for some time and was married. She was a wonderful woman who made him happier than he had ever been and gave him the one thing money couldn’t buy, a child. A son in particular. But you can’t run forever and turn your back on things like family, no matter how hard you try. Alexander swore he had nothing to do with it but he wasn’t the brother he was worried about. He came home without a wife, without a son. It had been the one chance he had to change his life and they took it away and dragged him back in.

When Apollo was born Eli promised himself that he’d watch after the boy and be there for him as if he were his own son. To Eli the boy was the one good thing Alexander ever did in his life. He remains loyal to his family and stands up and defends them. Because of his money and family name he got into the newspaper business and worked his way up to editor of one of the main papers in the country before buying it out. He’s in a position where if any other paper tries to put something out about his family he’s able to silence them and shows agency in a good light no matter what. The thing about it is though; he’s got a separate paper, an underground paper for the renegades. He feeds them information about the agency and uses it as a line of communication for those who plan to revolt against the agency or are trying to find loved ones that are kidnapped.
