At one point in his life he had been a family man, made an honest living, and didn’t bother anyone. He worked for the Agency most of his life; he followed orders closely and just cut off emotionally from what he was doing for them. He was married to a girl that he had been with since he was fifteen. She had been the love of his life as had his four year old son Alexander. Throughout most of his life he was pushed into working for the Agency since his father had been one of the founding members. He and his brother Grant had been in a silent competition their whole lives and it only continued when they both began working their way up in the ranks for the Agency. Porter was always a driven individual and once he put his mind to something there was no way he wasn’t going to accomplish what he wanted. He was ruthless and a total bastard, perfect for the job. <bR><bR>

It was seven years ago when things started turning sour. There were things that were happening that were changing how the Agency was ran and the way that Porter saw it now, having a child of his own to protect, he didn’t want any part of it. He turned to drinking to help cope with what was asked from him and while in a drunken rage one night nearly raised his hand to his wife. It became too much to deal with and she gave him an ultimatum either leave your job or I leave with Alex. It wasn’t a hard decision for him. Grant was promoted and all but ran the Agency, gaining the upper hand over his brother. One night operatives showed up at his door and took him and threw him in a cell. Both his son and wife were murdered and after being beaten down till he couldn’t stand his brother showed up to gloat. <bR><bR>

He escaped from the Agency and started anew. This time as a renegade, looking to take down Grant. He had the inside edge on what would be needed to take it down since he had been part of it all for so long and because of his power. You see Porter is a power mimicker. He assembled a team and got to know them and their powers, making sure he only picked people that he would be able to mimic off of and use to help fight back. His methods of training and ideas are a bit unorthodox and sometimes very dangerous. As a teacher he isn’t necessarily someone’s first choice since he’d beat the crap out of you to make you harder than you were when you came to him. At this point he’s not sure if it’s revenge or if he truly feels as if what the Agency is doing is wrong. As far as he is concerned he’s got all the time in the world to make sure his plans go right and he reaches his goal of making Grant pay. After all with a team like his and his concentrated skill, there is no reason to think that he will fail.<br><br>

He isn't the friendliest of guys but if you get through to him or if he takes a liking to you than that is another story. Agency people should turn the other way because it's likely that your gonna make an enemy. It'd be interesting if there were people he was close with when he was working for the agency that are trying to track him down or something--makes good plotting. As far as romance goes, he's a grieving widower and doesn't think he'll ever get over losing his wife and kid. Hell he's doing all of this for them. A complete gentleman, which would probably surprise you, but unfortunately it doesn't look likely that he'll have to much going on in the love department unless its sex.

oh hai thurr. so here i have milo who i offered up as a new recruit to porter's cause. he's telekinetic, obviously, and could be a great help. thing is, milo's not really too tough. he's been running from the agency for five years after having been given up by more than willingly by his parents, to which he was immediately put to tests. luckily, he was able to escape before getting really messed up and that's when he started running. he's learned how to fight a bit on his own, if only because of the need to survive, so he's not exactly great or anything. i think it'd be really interesting if porter recognized him from when he got captured and that's when he showed up to recruit him. like, maybe porter thinks he's too soft for his own good and wants to shape him by bringing his angry 'i-hate-the-agency' side? milo hates the agency with a passion, but he just doesn't think about it and basically pretends like it never happened, which is why nobody knows that part about him. right then, that's all i got. add/subtract/ideas?

so jordin here is my little disappearing thief so to say; she's lived a good chunk of her life popping in and out of places to steal money from or other things that she wants for herself. she's never really had that adult parent figure around to tell her the difference between right and wrong so in her mind there's nothing bad about showing off her ability. or even robbing a bank for that matter. i think it would be interesting if porter caught her openly using her ability one night after stealing something from a jewelry store or some other place. from there he could try to take her in under his wing to teach her the difference between right and wrong. idk just tossing something out there. </div></center>[/dohtml]

on the wrong account but oh well. hey there bossman. looks like your right hand man's appeared. probably late because he was probably doing something less important and wanted to think it was more important. Anyway, Cael looks up to this man, and he doesn't look up to anyone so it's kinda important in that. But no, Cael is incredibly loyal to this man, he'll act flippant and put his feet up on the desk, but if Porter asks him to do something, he does it. Like...without complaining. It's an odd position for him, but Porter took him in when he was nothing more than a bundle of anger and revenge and moulded him into something more of a sadistic bundle with a purpose. Cael spends more time around Porter than most people would consider healthy, but meh, Cael kinda likes him. And they scheme and plot and discuss the recuits together and Cael may or may not have something of an infatuation with him, but he doesn't consider those feelings well. Soooo these two need something to do, a plot or a phone call or a scheming or yes!

alright, so gray's father is the director and oversees shit for the agency and is the reason his sister is missing, being tested on, and working for the agency. gray's cut all ties with his family and probably wouldn't say anything about that to porter if he were recruited. he'd keep it a secret as long as he could but he really wants to shut the agency down. plus his power is useful. though haven't told anyone about his power besides his best friend he'd probably would be a little stubborn and hesitant at first with porter.

PORTER AND MILO

Porter worked for the agency for some time, pretty much most of his life, so I’m sure if Milo had been kidnapped than porter probably had something to do with it whether Milo knows that or not. He doesn’t remember everyone that he arranged to be kidnapped or extract info from so he probably wouldn’t remember Milo but maybe that isn’t the same on Milo’s end and maybe Milo thinks he’s a bit familiar? Idk. He’d definitely help Milo with his power if needed and help bring out the productive hateful side needed in order to fight the agency for his cause.

PORTER AND CAEL

[doHTML]<center><div style="width: 300px; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify;"> Although Porter is emotionally cut off from those around him and he’s kind of like a rock in many ways, I feel like he’d have a soft spot for Cael and maybe that’s why he’s kept him around so long and maybe Cael was the reason he decided to start working with others and taking on a team in the first place. I had this idea in my head that they operate out of an old abandoned gym that Porter took over where he can train people without worrying about getting noticed by the agency. I just say we throw them into a thread or something ASAP haha cause they’re going to be great.

PORTER AND GRAYSON

[doHTML]<center><div style="width: 300px; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify;"> Okay so Porter used to be on the high up level of Agency security and his brother eventually went on to practically run the Agency. So in one thought I was thinking if Gray’s father was Porter’s brother, or if he worked with Grayson’s father and know about what happened to his sister. You see Porter left the Agency after his brother had him kidnapped and his wife and child murdered. He wouldn’t take Gray’s crap no matter what and would try to coax out of him his ties to the Agency if he doesn’t already know him because Gray seems like a huge asset and Porter would be making him into a secret weapon of sorts because of who he is, and it not having anything to do with his power.

What if Porter and Kaela's dad had been friends with they were both in the agency. Her brother was kidnapped by the agency when they tacked her family down. Her parents use to work for the agency, maybe they had known each other even back then and were a family friend? But then her parents found out about the dark side to the agency and just took off in the middle of the night. The agency tried to track them down for years and finally caught up to them, killing her mother and kidnapping her brother. I can see maybe that her father and Porter were friends and she kind of looks up to Porter like an uncle? And maybe that they are now both renegade's they help each other out from time to time? Just an idea I had feel free to shoot it down. </div>

porter and anton, anton might be useful to porter. he doesn't have any sort of power, however he was with the agency for a while before he decided enough was enough. i dunno, he could have even helped porter escape (just a suggestion though). anton is with the renegades now though and knows exactly how the agency operates, so even if porter hates anton's guts, he'd still be relatively useful. also, the agency is looking out for anton, so wherever anton goes, the agency goes. annnd finally, anton's pretty handy. he's a mechanical genius and loves to tinker, so i dunno. if porter needs handy informants, anton's his man and it could be fun if they had a frenemies thing going on even. idk.
