Here we have Mr. Felicianus Borden, better known around here as the Hogwarts Astronomy Professor. He was raised in a strictly pure-blooded and educated family, and proudly attended Hogwarts as a young boy, sorted into the noble, intellectual house of Ravenclaw. After graduating, he married the love of his life Johanna Werner, and together they had a daughter, Eleanore, in 1961, whom they raised together until Johanna’s passing at the age of 32. Felicianus was hired by Hogwarts as Astronomy Professor in 1964, where he began his much desired occupation, which he hopes to continue until his retirement. Felicianus now lives alone in Southampton with his daughter, living close to his wife’s family, whom he often relies on for help with Eleanore’s care.

friends -
Felicianus has never been much of a socialite, not in his youth, nor his adulthood. His favorite pastimes have always included reading, thinking, and researching. I can see him having a close relationship with a handful of his brightest students, as a bit of a mentor to them. Felicianus has no blood-biases, and in his experience in teaching, a muggle-born student may often be more intelligent than many of his pure-blooded ones. But mostly, he just keeps to himself, so any of his friends will have to put up with his standoffish-attitude. He enjoys having conversations with people, but being in a large social group tends to drain his energy, so the smaller the group, the more likely he is to be comfortable.

enemies -
If there’s one thing about Felicianus that every student knows, it’s that he doesn’t like slackers, and he only rewards his brightest students, so there is probably a large number of students out there who are pretty prejudice against him. If a student doesn’t excel in astronomy, then he will make it obvious to them. He doesn’t mock his students, or make examples of them, but he does what he believes is fair. Felicianus doesn’t go out of his way to make enemies, but chances are anyone who is disrespectful to he, his daughter, or anyone he holds dear will wind up on this list.

lovers -
Felicianus’ list of lovers is small - very small. He dated a few girls back when he was a student at Hogwarts, but his love of them never compared to that which he felt for his wife, Johanna. After she died, he was utterly broken, and he honestly believes that he could never fall into a love like that again. However, nothing in this world is impossible. While I can’t see him having many, if any, flings with women, he does have potential to love again – but when he does fall, he falls hard, so if he were to love anyone, he would instantly offer up his undivided attention and do absolutely anything and everything for them. Anyone able to fall into this category will have to care for his daughter, for rejection of her would be an automatic deal-breaker in any relationship. Felicianus has never understood why some students have attractions to their teachers, so any sort of flirtation from a student, no matter what age, will be met with confusion and disapproval, and probably nothing more.
