“Will you just stop wiggling your legs for a moment so Mommy can put on your socks?”[/color[ Maia begged, gently grabbing Charlotte’s bucking legs. [color=mediumseagreen]“It’s cute, yes, but very inconvenient, Charlie.” Charlie just looked up at her, and Maia was finally able to put pink bunny socks on her daughter’s feet. She let out a soft laugh and placed Charlie in her swing, running her fingers through her hair before she reached for Jackson. “There’s Mommy’s boy. All ready to put on his cute little soccer ball socks!” Maia cooed, tickling Jackson’s feet. After Maia put on Jack’s socks, she put him in his swing, and let the two of them swing and gurgle at each other while she got dressed.
After getting dressed, Maia grabbed the stroller, and placed the twins inside. She had some work to pick up from her office, and she didn’t trust anyone with her three-week-old twins just yet, so she decided to take them herself. They slept through anything, and it was a nice day to take them out. Once on the street, Maia began to point things out to them. “This is where the crazy old lady next door yells at invisible children stepping on her plants that don’t exist.” Maia gave the twins a slight nod, and continued walking down the street. Occasionally Charlie would cry, but it was mostly at people. Nosey little thing.
She had gotten past security and made her way to her office. Stopping by Azad’s desk, Maia parked the stroller. “Uncle Azad, this is Charlie and Jack. Charlie and Jack, this is Uncle Azad.” She gave him a bright smile.
