WELCOME
welcome to waiting for a train, a post-movie "Inception"-based board set in Washington, DC, in the year 2011. shared dreaming has become more commonplace, and thus, a lot more dangerous--but just because it's now illegal, doesn't mean it's not happening. from illegal extraction to dream junkies looking for their next fix, the landscape of shared dreaming is changing. so join us--after all, you mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger.

the national mall sorry, girls, it's not a shopping mall! this is the national park in downtown DC that lies directly between the Washington Monument and the Capitol Building, with many monuments and national landmarks close by.

crystal city an urban neighborhood and business district in downtown DC where you can work, live, and shop all on the same street--or using the extensive underground tunnels and corridors below the streets, without even going outside. just south of the Pentagon, this community is home to many influential businesses and bright up-and-comers--if you want to make a difference in the business world, this is the place to be.

downtown this is where many of the more established businesses and national departments are located, as well as much of the city's entertainment. the White House, the U.S. Treasury, Chinatown, George Washington University, and the Verizon Center can all be found in this part of the city.

dc metro a quick and easy way to get around the city! DC metro lines are well-organized and run the length of the city. metro stations are marked with brown square posts with capital Ms on them and are found at intervals throughout DC.

the suburbs Bethesda, Silver Spring, and Rockville are some of the most expensive and sought-after suburban communities in the nation--the schools are top-notch, the gardens are immaculate, and the commute is a nightmare, but it's possible it could be worth it.

northeastern dc despite all the history and all the white marble, there's definitely a bad part of town. these are the neighborhoods that you don't want to be walking around alone in at night--rampant with unchecked physical and dream crime, fought over by local branches of Irish and Russian mafia, and the growing center for criminal extraction teams that are making those criminal organizations just that much harder to keep out.

second layer now you're getting a little bit deeper. not exactly requiring a master to get to, but it's also likely you won't get here on your first try.

third layer unstable, and difficult to reach, to reach a third layer of dreaming usually requires sedation of some sort. definitely not for your average dream junkie.
