It is 9:50 Dragon.

Twenty years after the ending of the Blight, with Ferelden safe and the Grey Wardens standing redeemed, the Warden commander (and Queen) of Ferelden has disappeared. Nobody quite knows where she disappeared off to, and yet there are dark rumours that Flemeth and Morrigan, along with the child with the soul of the Old God have been sighted. Whether this is mere happenstance or something bigger at work, the First Warden in Weisshaupt Fortress has decreed that there needs to be an investigation into the child. It's a chance for the Grey Wardens of Ferelden to redeem themselves, and discover what ancient magics held the Archdemon at bay...

Season: Winter.

Soldier's Peak
The seat of Warden power in Ferelden until Sophia Dryden's arrogance and treachery caused the Grey Wardens to be banished by King Arland. Now restored to its former glory, Soldier's Peak permits the Wardens a secluded location to scout potential recruits, and also is the official base of the Wardens in Ferelden,

Vigil's Keep
The true seat of the Grey Wardens in Ferelden, the Vigil was granted to the Wardens in 9:30, after the Commander of the Grey ended the Blight, and saved Thedas the loss of many more soldiers. While the Vigil and the city of Amaranthine were both under fire from Darkspawn, the Commander chose to save the city, thereby earning the love of the Amaranthine denizens.

Denerim
Denerim is the heart and soul of Ferelden. It was the city of King Calenhad, the birthplace of Andraste. As stubborn as a mabari, and as good to have on your side...

Or at least, according to Arl Eamon. And it's true. The largest city in Ferelden, Denerim boasts a nice selection of areas where the Wardens can relax, visit a prostitute (only at The Pearl!) get a drink, get robbed and visit Wade's Armoury. (Of course, it has been rumoured that his assistant Herren is actually a Desire Demon in disguise...)

Kirkwall
The largest city-state in the Free Marches, Kirkwall is heavily reliant upon its Templars to enforce and protect the city-state. The so-called Champion of Kirkwall, a woman and mage by the name of Marian Hawke, was able to stop the magi rebellion from going too far. She eventually disappeared, some years after being made Viscount, and nobody quite knows where she went. It is rumoured that she and Sebastian Vael are both missing together-- a plot of sorts that sprung up out of her disappearance.

Weisshaupt Fortress
The bastion of all Grey Wardens, Weisshaupt Fortress stands in the Anderfels as a home for all Wardens to return to. Far and foreign, the Anderfels are a cold and chilly climate, where the winters are cold and dark. Once the Griffon Eeries held the majestic creatures the Wardens were famed for-- they now stand in ruin.

Orlais
The heart and soul of Thedas's religious convictions, Orlais is home to the Divine and the Grand Cathedral. Very different to the rest of Thedas, Orlais also employs bards as spies, using them to play the game of Intrigue.
