The forest which begins at the edge of the school grounds is home to a nature trail of over 10 miles. Wildflowers and small animals are scattered throughout, making the forest quite the romantic spot.

the lake
The school lake is named after the daughter of founder Long, Lillibett. She died tragically when she foolishly went out during a storm. It is thought she drowned in the lake, although her body was never found.
