DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Though at a first glance, miss Hawkins is not a face that may have launched a thousand ships, she definitely has one of the most angelic and serene features anybody could have ever seen. She has a small nose and curver lips. Under a certain light, her hair may appear to look reddish, which had gained quite some attention over the years. Freckles, her trademark, are scattered along the bridge of her nose, showing quite clearly through her fair skin. This girl may perhaps be the epitome of a fallen angel. Although the word 'fallen' may have suited her well enough.

ULTIMATEGOAL: Happiness, but then again, don't we all really want that? So perhaps she can settle with being able to walk around without any worries.
OVERALL PERSONALITY: It is true that Adelaide may be quiet, but she is far from the average shy person. She does not speak not because she doesn't have any words to say, nor is she petrified in fear of people, but instead, she is merely quiet because she is a very distrusting young girl. She knows what kind of horrors human beings are capable of, and she isn't very willing to let herself fall to some sort of horrifying web of drama and hurt. So instead, she keeps to herself. If you strike up a conversation with her, don't expect her to immediatley perk up and begin talking to you as if she had known you many years before, but expect a particularly long silence. Blessed is the person she had entrusted to keep her heart, but God knows what kind of depression she might get in to if he ends up breaking it.
But don't judge her by her appearance. Even if she may seem like the average plain Jane, she is anything but. In fact, she is a very interesting girl. It would perhaps be impossible to list her interests, for it would take an entire lifetime to completley write them all down. This can be attributed to her natural curiosity, her undying desire to really know more. Although she might not come straighforward and ask about something, she definitely doesn't stop until she gets her answers. In that way, she is sort of persistent, but she also knows when she has to give up. She keeps her limits in check, but she aims for the least leeway for mistakes and bounding limits.
Adelaide is also a very calm girl. She doesn't go beserk after just being annoyed, and she doesn't go crazy after little mistakes. She has a good sense of self-control, which means she knows very well when it is proper to act a certain way. Mind you, Adelaide, though brought up under certain limiting conditions, was brought up with courtesy. She acts proper, and she acts collected, just as is expected of a young lady. She may draw a little doodle of you getting thrown off a catapult in her skecthpad later, but she won't say she hates you right in front of your face. And no, she doesn't talk behind your back either. Her secrets and concerns all go symbolized into her little sketchpad, her only source of emotional outpours.

OVERALL HISTORY: Adelaide was born a few years into her parents' marriage, and it was a particularly happy marriage until a short while after her youngest sister was born. Because she would very much rather not think of that night, and because she was a young three and a half year old girl back when it happened, the details were very sketchy. All she knew was that a few days before that night, her parents had gotten into a terrible fight. There was a lot of screaming, and door-banging, and a lot of plate-smashing, too. The house looked more or less like a tornado had gone through it. It was a fairly big house, mind you, for even though their family wasn't exactly filthy rich, they were actually doing exceptionally well with their expenses. That meant a good education for her and her siblings, and that also meant a good deal of belongings to be smashed in tha tornado of parental verbal bashing. Her mom slept in her room that night.
Soon after, she was instructed to pack her belongings, and she obediently followed. She remembered kissing her siblings goodnight, and promising them they'd see each other again someday. It somehow felt cliche, like the kind of thing she would watch from one of Mommy's soap operas, but that was how it happened. The next thing she knew, she was getting into a train with her mother, and only her mother, waving goodbye to their quiet little neighborhood. It was a very long trip, and she didn't know where they were going. They settled in a little house in Oxfordshire, England, and she lived a quiet life with her mother there.
She had a quiet childhood after that, being tricked into believing that they were better off without the other half of their family. She went to school like any normal girl, and she told everyone at school that her mother was a single mom. Everyone praised her for raising a girl like Adelaide all alone, and Adelaide took pride in the fact that they were only actually half a family. Of course, she would never tell them
they were the ones who left, and not the other way around. She feared the day would come when she would meet her sibling again, and all that time, she was afraid to find out what they had to say to her-- after she had left them like that. That was perhaps why she had gone to be so distrusting.
She applied for Springhill when she was eligable enough to enter, because she believed that it was one of the most prestigious schools in the area, and she earned herself a prestigious education. Her first two years were great. She met the -- Lovett, and though she wasn't so easily trusting, she had fallen for his charms nonetheless. He protected her, and just by being himself, he proved to her that the world wasn't only populated by harmful humans, but there were caring ones as well. She thought she had the perfect life right there and then, even though her history had much to say. But then, there seemed to be a problem. For some reason, there were two siblings in the school who happened to have the same last name as she did, and who were roughly the age of the younger siblings she had left early in her life. But, then, it would have been a terrible, terrible strike of fate that brought them all there, for Scotland was a long way from home. Perhaps her history could have more than just 'much' to say now.
DOES THIS MEAN
I'M COMING HOME ?
