Jack the Ripper, Try to solve this modern Jack the Ripper

Ok, stay in character, work as a detective to solve the case behind this modern day ripper, based off of the Notorious Prostitute Killer, Mr. Jack the Ripper himself. See if you succeed where London's finest failed. Good Luck...

The prostitute screamed as a hacksaw cut her neck, slicing it open. Blood poured onto the pavement. Jack dropped the saw and removed his gloves and stuffed them in his pocket. A single hair fell out of the glove as he went to put it away. It fell onto the closed eyelid of the now-dead hooker.

Arriving at the crimscene, where the dead hooker's body is lying. "Does anyone know what happened here?" I ask out loud, but it seems I was ignored. I cross the tape, and carefully inspecting the dead corpse. While examining I happen to see a single strand of hair on her eyelid. Pull out some tweasers and a bag, put the hair in the bag, and hand it to the forensic person on duty at the time. I then turn around to go see if there are any witness, there seems to me none that I could find. "Hey, how many is this now, Jack? Do you know?" I ask my partner.

[Rouge God]

The forensic leaves with the bag to test the sample without saying a word of farewell...

"I'm not sure," i reply, "I believe this makes nine in all, but they won't give us the money to find him. I'm sure if he wasnt killing hookers the state would have cared and we would have caught him by now. No one is this perfect, surely we missed something, but you say you found a hair. We've got him this time."

"Here's what I'm wondering Jack, How come its only prostitutes he attacks? What is it about them that make him tick?" I wonder outloud in amasement to my partner.

[Rouge God]

A voice comes across the CB Radio, "Code 98, The Ripper got another one, 905 N. Elm street. Check inside the house."


At the crime scene, there are 2 girls with multiple stab wounds in their breasts, stomachs, and their eyes are closed. No witnesses. There are ashes of wool gloves in the fireplace.

"Damn, he got more girls! Come on Jack, lets go." We head to the other crimesene, were the first to get there, "Precauion, just in case, you know." I motion for us to get our guns ready, then to go inside.

I try not to puke as the stench reaches my nose. "How old did he say this was again. Call forensics, I'm sure they're going to want to see this. Maybe they'll be able to find something useful." I begin to look around for something, I'm not sure what i'm looking for. My instincts are going crazy sayng that there is something that I'm missing.

I call Forensics to come to check this out. I neel to look at the bodies, "These smell, I dont think its death, it might be perfume, they are hookers." I chuckle. I stand up, and walk over to the fireplace, and find ashes of gloves, "Hey Jack, look at this." i call him over, and bag the visible pieces of the glove. "think we could get anything off of these?" I hold them up.

[Rouge God]

Nick's phone rings, it's the forensic with info about the hair.

Female, blonde, about 25. Suspected to be another of the Ripper's victims, not the Ripper's himself. No other info yet.

I glance at the glaves. "I don't think so. They are too burnt, but we'll let forensics handle it." I look around in frustration. "Why can't we catch this guy," I scream. Then I see it. A small drop of dried blood under the hooker's fingernail. I point it out to my partner. "She must have tried to fight back. We've got him now."

My phone rings, its forensics with the hair analysis completed, I close my phone in frustration. "Damn, the hair i found, was just another victim. Get a sample, and give it to forensics when they arrive, but dont hope too much on this bit of evidence. He has been know to plant evidence."

"I know he has, but maybe he let this one slip. Nobody is perfect, not even him." I bend down to get a sample when a thought struck me. "Why does he only go after hookers, is he thinking he's doing a public service? I've been doing this for 32 years and I have never seen something like this. Why does he do it?

The forensic collects the dried blood sample and heads to the lab with it.


Jack recieves a call.

Turns out to be blood from a male, 16, O positive blood. He lives at 583 Oakwood.

"Who was that?" I ask as I walk over to him. "Hey, you look like you have something on your mind, what's up?"
