The check-in desk houses a pitcher of crisp mineral water and a sleek black computer, waiting for the guests. The only thing missing is the people: couples that have come from all over, searching for the one thing many of them have already abandoned. Hope.
Santa Barbara, California, is home to a beautiful oasis – The Crystal Valley Resort and Spa. Crystal Valley isn’t your ordinary resort, though. It’s home to fun, a great spa and first-class living, sure, but there’s much more beneath the surface. Between hot rock treatments and seaweed wraps, couples come together and participate in something a bit less fun – therapy. Many of our wonderful couples at this resort are struggling to stay together. Secrets are withheld and trust is diminished, while outside forces threaten to rip the relationships apart at the seams. Only time will tell whether or not these couples can make it home in one piece. Of course, determination plays a large part, as well. That, and love.
