It will be interesting to see this game progress. I liked Wilson's line changes that changed the rhythm of the game and nearly turned it around completely.

I still say we will be at the bottom of the standings come playoff time, but I am hopeful in seeing some positives taking root in this pre-season. A solid couple of years out of Toskala, coupled with another first round draft choice, coupled with a new and improved front office and scouting staff and we might just be growing a formidable team (notice I did not say cup contender as that phrase is bad luck to this team)

I like what I'm seeing so far. All I really want from the Leafs this year is for them to be a challenge to play against every night. If they come together and make the playoffs, good for them...otherwise, we'll have a decently hight pick and we can move some guys at the deadline for some more youth.
