“Into this wild Abyss/ The womb of Nature, and perhaps her grave--/ Of neither sea, nor shore, nor air, nor fire,/ But all these in their pregnant causes mixed/ Confusedly, and which thus must ever fight,/ Unless the Almighty Maker them ordain/ His dark materials to create more worlds,--/ Into this wild Abyss the wary Fiend/ Stood on the brink of Hell and looked a while,/ Pondering his voyage; for no narrow frith/ He had to cross. ”
― John Milton, Paradise Lost

Red Creek Hospital
Located in the downtown area, Red Creek Hospital is a busy place. It's built on former church grounds, which makes it difficult for demons to get medical attention, but it isn't as if there aren't smaller clinics in and around the city to accommodate them.

Crossroads Police Department
Located in the center of the city, the Crossroads Police Department is not exactly the straight and narrow place that it perceives its citizens to be. It's rampant with corruption and only a few good officers manage to navigate through the dark to find some justice for the citizens of Crossroads.

Underground
A rave bar located in the Downtown district on the edge of the waterfront. This area is said to be neutral ground in the war, where both good and evil are allowed to deal with issues pertaining to the war and certain negotiations when either side violates the more harsh rules. Legend has it that a Guardian killed themselves on this very location, resulting in a dampening field that prevents either side from using the full extent of their abilities.

Zephyr Circle
Zephyr Circle is where the 1% live, indulging in the finer things in life. Houses here go for millions, which is laughable considering just a few miles away the Wastes properties can barely be sold. This is Demon territory, though it's not unheard of that Guardians live here among them.

Axe Park
In an effort to put more green into the failing city, Axe Park was created on the waterfront after bulldozing a great deal of low income housing, leaving many people homeless, but adding a wonderful green area for the higher class citizens to enjoy. It's not advised one should walk through here at night, as many have been reported missing and others gravely injured, but the Crossroads Police have little comment on this.

Orias Gentlemen's Club
This misogynistic club caters to the upper crust 1% of Crossroads society. While the elegant and expensive interior screams class and money, the employees are poorly treated, threatened and often bullied, especially the women dancers who are often slaves to the men who own Orias'. Women are only allowed here if they are accompanied by a member and if they aren't scantily clad they are turned away.

The Wastes
Once the epicenter of the city, the manufacturing district has taken a turn for the worse and all that is left there are abandoned warehouses, manufacturing plants and apartments that are cheap and run down. A few businesses continue to thrive, but they are mostly bars and corner stores.

Manufacturing District
Filled with abandoned warehouses and junk, the Manufacturing District has long since been abandoned. A large barbed wire wall was erected 10 years ago to prevent the citizens of Crossroads from entering, but over time people have managed to find their way in.

Crossroads Cemetary and Mausoleum
The Crossroads Cemetary is the main resting place for the dead, taken care of quite well by the city to maintain appearances despite the fact that many demons rule over the city. The Mausoleum rests in the center of the large, lush grounds to which the church of St. Constantine donated a large statue of an angel which rests on the peak of the building, its hands and wings outstretched to the heavens.
