(Recommending others use that as a starting point for numbers) This will be starting off small before the government would invest in a massive exercise, and this will be a recurring event. My deployment: That's 10 Novan Packs (5 each), from the Altain Operations Theatre. (Not including logistics etc, which will be drawn from training corps.) Each pack will be chosen as specialist forces (maximum 3 Designated Riflemen) Though may not be the best trained. |

not that it makes a huge difference, we're not going to use an entire provence in an overpopulated country as a military playground... or should we? ![]() An old map that I'm looking to make a physical version of. Altai is a mountainous and very chilly climate (Yay! Snow!) Buryatia is still colder than average, but has the joy of heavy rainfall and swampland Chukotka is still pretty chill, but mostly plains, meaning the only real cover is woodland, unless we do things from constructed military bases (Chukotka is a seriously overpopulated area, due to the suitability of building there, so there's limited space.) |

Mountains means I won't be bringing in aircraft. Too much risk.

Good thing my nation is a mountainous blizzard plagued wasteland. I've trained them for stuff worse than that! |

Read the OP In more detail: This will be the first international military exercise between members of GP 1) The government isn't going to pump funds into a new project straight away 2) The government isn't just going to let soldiers and jets be thrown into traffic and airspace, especially after all the turmoil that's been going on 3) Expansions in size are planned for later dates. Would you let a stranger send enough troops to outnumber you, with CAS, on a small-scale training exercise, not knowing whether their nation was another rogue waiting to bitch-slap everyone in the face? |

Though seriously, we'll have a much more 'reasonable' one next time, full of showy explosions and displays |

Right, my vote would have been for Altai anyway.
Deployment numbers are roughly set (not including logistical non-combat teams) Location is set. Any last words? |
