The idea is to give one line from a song then put the title and original singer/duo/group to the song. Whoever guesses it correctly starts the next one. No googling allowed, otherwise there's no point. :D Here's the first one - easy to begin with:

Take me for a trip upon your magic swirling ship .....

Correct Gaynor - Mr Tambourine Man but it was recorded by The Byrds. Not a bad start. You're turn for a go now.

Correct, but the composer wasn't asked for. That's one of my most favourite songs of all time. :)

Oops! Sorry Gaynor. I'd forgotten that you're hours behind us, not in front. Now then, you've got me stumped with this one. Let's see if anyone else knows what it is. :D

Ya had to be smokin' pot to understand the words Diva! No, seriously, I loved that song. It came out around 1967/68 but I'm not checking 'cos it's not essential to the game. I was around 16 at the time so it's a fair guess. I loved the music and guitar work in it. Do you know the answer to Gaynor's question? :)

:D

I cheated and did a Google. Someone called John Leyton or is it a Bee Gees song - How Deep Is Your Love? Thats one of me Mam's favourites.
ps,do you know how its a bit windy outside, well, someones bra is attached to me back fence. Thought i would tell you all that.
