We usually park in the little car park on the track off the road heading to Belmont ,as it is quieter than at Rivington Barn.
It took us 2 hours to do a circular route but we really took our time because Liz has had a bad back and we took loads of pictures.
I sometimes do this walk in my dinner break when I'm out on the road and it takes just over an hour. :rain: :rain: :)

I enjoyed that Bennie, thanks  There were lots of people up there. The dog looking at the water made me laugh, "To jump or not to jump, that is the question"
Which camera did you use, the Fuji?

I think it's a perfect walk Aitch-you can do it in a reasonably short space of time,it get's the blood pumping climbing up to the Pike, the views are quite magnificent and then it's an easy walk back down hill.

I used the Fuji to film it David, I can't decide wether it's better than Liz's Canon for taking movies or not. You can use the zoom on the Canon when filming and not on the Fuji but that said you lose too much focus for my liking. If I'm on my bike without Liz I always take her camera as it's a much handier size. :)

Thanks Bennie, I thought it was the Fuji because you didn't seem to be using the zoom. The focus and the colour looked fine to me.
I've just been mucking around with my old Canon and I can zoom with it up to 4x but it doesn't use the lens and optical zoom, it uses digital zoom to crop the video.
