A party for all races? Most would think that crazy but not Daemon. If anything he saw it as a way to forge a bond between the races, or at least try to. There would be no troubles because any that tried to cause such would find their ass on the front step, banned from the excitement within. Even if one wasn't ther eto party it would be the loss at an opportunity to get dirt or learn more about a friend or foe. The way he figured it the party would be where everyone would want to be, well most everyone at least. He'd taken great care to cator to all the races seeign as there'd most likely be some of each. There was more than enough varieties of food and drink from all different backgrounds. If you saw the bill for all that was needed for the party it might cause one to faint but not him seeing as to him it was a small chunk of change. Even though he didn't flaunt it everywhere by doing stupid things he did have quite the amount of money. That could be seen by the house itself. It wasn't much bigger than your average five bedroom, three bathroom house. What was really extraordinary was the objects inside, it had the victorian feel to it, many of the object having been imported themselves.

Leaning against the balcony rail that looked over the entry way he watched as people came in. Some he recognized and others he didn't. Just as the code had called for he'd dressed fairly nice wearing a white dress shirt, black dress pants and matching shoes. How many of these people wanted him dead? How many didn't care either way? None of that mattered, it was about mingling, mixing , an attempt at getting understanding for all. For that to happen everyone would have to trust the others. When he'd put word out he'd been sure to make it clear that all were safe in his house on this night. Any found trying to bring harm to another would find consequences of their own .No matter what race there were enough of the others to subdue any real issue. Still as people made their way into his home he felt as if he was alone, a feeling he often had. Why was it so? Maybe someday he'd understand it.

She had gotten word from one of the other vampires that Daemon was throwing a party tonight. Lately she had put herself in her work and ignored the rest of the world. It made most of the pain leave and she felt safe that way. No pain, no problem. She hadn't heard or seen Adam since the night he showed up it was probably for the best that she hadn't. It would have only hurt her more if she had. That was something she didn't want to think about right now.

She went home right after work and found her little black dress and her red high heels. Her favorite outfit by far. She loved the way it hugged her figure and the one sleeve it had on it. The heels also made her taller which was a nice feeling to have. Her hair was up with a few stray strands falling down down around her face. Giving a small amount of hair spray she left her home and headed for the party. Seeing as she couldn't ride a bike to the party in a dress she called a friend and carpooled there.

Upon entering she smiled at how big the house was. Her heels made a little clicking noise as she walked up to it. Entering the first thing she noticed was the house looked. Her friend Biffy would love it here, seeing as his house looked almost the same. The red head looked up and say her friend, Deamon. She gave a small smile to him and went to go try and mingle. Hopefully he would come join her in time.
