Night. Quiet. Peace. Or perhaps, a mockery of what peace should be. The too still figure that stood overlooking the cafe area studied his prey. Luck would have it that there were several star seeds present. A perfect time to recruit... or destroy those that stood with the White Moon. They didn't seem to sense him, or be concerned in any way.

Dark Mercury, the observer.

Metallia had sent him out, instructed him to find at least one new star seed tonight. He hoped not to fail. Raising a hand, he formed a spear made of ice. Aiming very carefully, he chose one of the star seeds and aimed for the space between their feet... and hit true. No one was hurt, but his point was made. Someone screamed. He leaped down, landed in a crouch, and stood, facing his targets.
