paul for my alex. quick history is that she's a guardian and the daughter of a pair of the original town founders. she died in childbirth in 1843 and has been a guardian ever since, leaving the town to explore the world but always being pulled back to meriden when the need arises. enter paul, a vampire she met on one of her travels, where they met is up to you but it was a love at first sight kind of thing and a whirlwind romance. of course neither knew that the other was a supernatural creature. so, when the need to return to meriden to protect the town came about like it always had, alex had to leave. she left in the middle of the night without a word and it broke her heart like you couldn't imagine. fast forward all these years (just how many is debatable since it will depend a lot on his history <3) and he's somehow found his way to meriden where she is once again. now remember, neither knew the other was immortal so when they see each other once again they will be in for quite the shock. (: yay!
so, requirements... play by is absolutely paul wesley. sorry, no negotiation there. his age should be somewhere between 100-300. he's definitely a vampire since everything else doesn't really make sense. and finally, these two will be finals. i'm not saying he can't have anything in between (i know she hasn't or won't) as i'll leave that up to you. a lot of his history, other than the original meeting is all up to you. he should be somewhat of a bad ass but lets keep his good qualities high as well shall we? i don't want him to be a complete jerk, and his softer side should definitely come out when he's around alex. but, well, he can't be a total softie either can he, because where's the fun in that?
