The day was very windy, with a threat of rain in the air. Regina hugged herself tighter to get some warmth, as she strolled down the street. Her long dark locks were pulled back in a loose french braid, yet the wind had managed to pull a few strands out, making them fly around her face. She was completely bored, and was surprised her cell phone hadn't rung all afternoon. She was on her way to the coffee house to see if she ran into anyone, she was up for some good old gossiping.

Pushing open the doors, she pulled her sunglasses to the top of her head and walked over to the counter. She ordered a warm mocha, and taking the drink, she made her way over to an empty table by the window. She was wearing very comfy clothes, a light pink zip up jacket with a hoodie, white cargo pants and bright pink tennis shoes. Her gaze scanned the empty streets as she sipped her mocha. It was one of those days were people just want to curl up in bed.

The day was rather depressing. It only added to the gloominess of Blair's mood. She really wanted some coffee. She was practically falling asleep, pounding down the pavement. Ohhh... maybe some ice cream to go with the coffee? Blair smiled a little just thinking about it. Her sunglasses were pulled down over her eyes, hiding the dark circles under her eyes. Sure, she had tried her best to cover it up with makeup, but it hardly worked. She recently hadn't slept much because she kept thinking and replaying that last date with her ex. She caught her breath, and stopped her tears. It was her fault that they broke up.

Blair pushed open the door and flipped up her sunglasses. She didn't look around, but went up to the counter and got a regular coffee and strawberry ice cream. Holding her coffee in one hand and her ice cream in the other, she turned around and instantly spotted Regina. A smile crossed her face and she walked over to the table, taking a seat across from her friend.

"Hey. Want some of my ice cream?" Blair asked, sipping her coffee. She loved the feeling she got after drinking coffee. It felt like she was warm... but on the inside. It sounded dorky, and she never told anyone, but it felt great.

Regina was so glad to hear that familiar voice. "Hey Blair" she said, looking over at her friend as she sat. "Sure hun." She reached over and took some of her ice cream, a bit dribbling down her chin. She smiled, as she licked it off. "So, what's up Blair? What's been going on lately" she asked, resting her chin on her palm. She could tell her friend had something on her mind, it shined right through her eyes.

Blowing a whisp away from her face, she tugged gently at her braid, a habit she had when she was anxious. "It's such an awful day, I hate gloomy days. I'm so glad you stopped by, I was bored out of my mind" she said, smiling sideways at Blair.

"So, what's up Blair? What's been going on lately"

Blair dug into the ice cream as well. "Ugh... nothing great, to say the least," Blair replied, being extremely vague. She didn't really feel like going in depth with her feelings, seeing as she was unsure of them herself. Was she depressed? Maybe. But, then again, she did have her moments. It may just be PMS, but then again... it might not be.

"It's such an awful day, I hate gloomy days. I'm so glad you stopped by, I was bored out of my mind"

Blair nodded absent mindedly. "These gloomy days really suck. Don't they just make you feel terrible?" she asked, tilting her head sideways. She reached her hand to the back of her head and scratched it a little bit, turning her head to the windows. People passed by. Some she recognized as students, some as townsfolk, and the tourists stuck out like sore thumbs. It was amusing watching these people filter through the town. They willingly take a forty minute detour to see a small town and a freezing ocean. As far as Blair was concerned, Starlite Bay was a huge dissappointment. People come to California for beaches, and you'd think that beaches would be hot, wouldn't you? But no, Starlite Bay was almost always covered in fog.

Regina raised her eyebrow lightly, looking at Blair curiously. "Really?" she asked, biting her lip. Something definitely wasn't right, but it was obvious Blair didn't want to talk about it. So she dropped the subject, she didn't want to push her. If Blair wanted to, she'd tell her. "Yeah, it's amazing that we're in California, yet it's so freakin cold" she said, shaking her head.

Taking another sip of her mocha, Regina looked out. Yeah, she hated the fact that it was almost always cold and/or foggy, and that the town was so small. As soon as she could, she was moving to a sunnier part of California. Maybe LA, or Newport.
