LYLA KINGSLEY:

okay! well, lyla's pretty much the lois lane of the spandex universe. she's the top reporter at the royal times and she's very much built her career on writing about superhumans. lyla clawed her way to the top of the media (in heels!). she's extremely determined when she goes after a story and doesn't think about whether she'll get hurt or not while chasing a lead. lyla is all about revealing the truth and taking down the bad guys (whoever they may be). being a reporter and getting the news is a big (if not the biggest) part of lyla's life.

she's quick on the wit and (once broken through her reporter demeanor) is known to be a fiercely loyal friend... or at least a dependable source.

DAMON "cerebral" TORREN:

visionary meet visionary!

damon is, more or less, the bad boy of the group. he was a former villain (though no one on the team knows about it... yet?) turned hero. while he'll more than likely fall on the side of good, the way damon goes about things (and his methods of handling situations) can question subject of his allegiance. damon is struggling with his double life and internalizes most (if not all) of his emotions. he keeps a good poker face (hey, you've got to be a great liar to be a good baddie!), more than willing to keep a cool, laid back demeanor than let others know how he's truly feeling.

damon almost enjoys mouthing off to authority/superiors and has no problems causing a few explosions on the streets if it means beating the bad guys. while he can do things that seem questionable, in the end he's still a visionary and he'll still do the right thing. most of the time anyway...

DUKE "endgame" COYLE:

good guy, meet bad guy!

duke's a spitfire. he uses people's emotions to fuel great strength (ranging from the emotion) and he's more or less emotionless himself. his lack of emotions makes it hard for anyone (probably even himself) to know whether he's genuine or not. he sells himself out publicly as a bodyguard, but privately the guy's an arms dealer. he specializes in US military-grade arms, but can get his hands onto weapons from all corners of the world.

Awesome! Here's what I have to say for each!

Lyla Kingsley: Friends, possibly? It would make sense that Janine would befriend the top reporter at the royal times. Whether to keep tabs on what she knows, or lead her astray with regard to the Visionaries, or whatever. That and I think they could probably be pretty good friends.

Damon Torren: I think these two would be pretty interesting to watch interact. Janine can be a bit ambiguous herself when it comes to her rules of right and wrong, and she's a bit Machiavellian about getting things done. In that respect, I think they'd get along. But while he is cool and laid back, she's more open and cheerful, or goofy at the very least. She'd probably find him funny. xD

Duke "Endgame" Coyle: Ooh, a Spitfire. Janine could probably try to shut him down somehow, or something. Or at the very least oppose him and his nasty villainy ways. Perhaps she could be investigating arms dealing?
