When Somnium was originally launched, the policy on naming conventions for canon Grey Warden origins was that they had to use their default/in-game first names. This was originally in place to keep things less confusing for the moderators. Since the game has been running smoothly, we've decided that there's really no need to keep this policy and that the Warden origins can have first names of players' choosing.

If this puts your character up for a name change, then you can PM me, and I'll happily change your username for you. You are also free to edit or retcon portions of threads where names were different if you would like to do so.
