WELCOME
Somnium is a play-by-post roleplaying game based on the Dragon Age series, taking place after the events of Dragon Age 2. The characters find themselves unable to leave the Fade for long lengths of time and each time, must find a way out of the dream or nightmare sequences. Both canon and original characters are allowed, but at this point, we are encouraging canons in hopes of building up our cast.
If you are interested in participating, feel free to register with any username you like. Once your character is accepted, a moderator will change that name to suit your character.

The Fade Camp
While the Fade is fluid, ever-changing, and often modeled to reflect the visions of dreamers, there is one area that always seems to appear the same. The image is that of a small, comfortable camp, boasting many tents, a campfire, and a stream of water. (This board acts as an IC social hub since they are all likely spread out during their waking hours.)

Thedas
Apart of the waking world, Thedas is a continent in the southern hemisphere. It covers many climates, from balmy Rivain to cold Ferelden, but one thing seems certain. Since the rebellion in Kirkwall, it is a terrifying place to be, no matter where a particular person might call home.
