She did not mind the work there, make some coffee a couple of sandwiches, clean up a couple of mugs. It wasn't challenging work and she didn't have to where a uniform. For the most part she didn't have to deal with idiots from school, they only went to places people knew the name of like Costa or Starbucks. But the best thing about Abby's job was that she could play there after her shifts or during her breaks. The owners loved performers to show off their talents there, it brought people into the cafe to watch. And for Abby it meant being able to express herself in the way she likes doing it best, music. She has yet to perform their with her band, they were still practising, so today was another day for Abby to perform solo. Taking off her apron, and placing it on the counter Abby made her way over to stage where she was about to sing. She picked up her guitar and placed the strap over her shoulder. "How many of you people out there. Been hurt in some kind of love affair. And how many times do you swear that you'll never love again?" she sung, strumming away on her guitar. "How many lonely, sleepless nights. How many lies, how many fights. And why would you want to put yourself through all that again?" It was a cover of the song brand new day, originally sung by sting. "Love is pain," I hear you say. Love has a cruel and bitter way. Of paying you back for all the faith you ever had in your brain." She ways felt great when she was singing in front of people, to have that attention on her, to hear them cheer or sing along. "How could it be that what you need the most. Can leave you feeling just like a ghost? You never want to feel so sad and lost again." It was a feeling she got from nothing else. "One day you could be looking Through an old book in rainy weather You see a picture of her smiling at you When you were still together You could be walking down the street And who should you chance to meet But that same old smile that you've been thinking of all day." A feeling she would not change for anything in the world.Click here for the performance. She continued to sing, everyone in the cafe's attention on her. Stand up all you lovers in the world. Stand up and be counted every boy and every girl. Stand up all you lovers in the world. We're starting up a brand new day." The curly haired blonde strummed the last note on her guitar. That was her favourite part to any day. Abby walked over to the edge of the stage and sat down were her guitar case was then began putting it away.open | words:521 | outfit | notes: (:∞+∞

girl's just wanna have fun♥Riley just finished her photoshoot and was too tired to go to starbucks as it was a bit far from where she did her photoshoot. She saw a local cafe nearby and it seems like a good place to get something to drink and maybe something to eat as well. She was at the traffic light and waited for the light to go green. When the light blinked green, she crossed the street and went inside the cafe. She took a seat and the waitress gave her the menu. She browsed the menu to find something to eat as she was starving. When she finished reading the menu she ordered a chicken salad and a soy latte. She was texting her sister telling her that she will be picking her up later. Then, she looked at the stage and saw a band. She noticed a girl from her school on the stage and the girl was preparing to sing. The girl started singing and she was really good and she keeps on listening to the girl singing. Riley was impressed with the girl's talent. When her salad arrived, she ate them slowly whilst enjoying the music. When the band stopped playing she pouted because it was over but clapped her hands anyway and there are many people who applauded as well. She looked around for the girl and she spotted the girl near the stage and she was putting away her guitar. Riley finished the last of her food and went towards the girl. "Hi, you were great! I love your voice," she said smiling.tag: open notes: :) outfit: here© SHE MEANS WAR AT ATF
