It's not dead, it's... hibernating.

I'm actually planning on finishing it, mostly because I hate leaving things unfinished, but I'm getting distracted by other stuff (oooh! shiny!) very easily these days, and most of my writing time has been spent writing character backgrounds and journals for my two D&D PCs and my various SW d20 PCs (hey, it gives both me and the DM an insight on what my character is thinking, AND I get XP for it. Win-win).

I honestly keep waiting to be hit by a stroke of genius, fic-wise. I do have an ending in mind... hell, I have more than one... but so far I haven't come up with THE ending. It's kind of annoying, really. I was trying to think of something good last week, but it wasn't working too well. Maybe I should just start writing and see what happens... which I will do, just as soon as I find the time.

Ok, ban me now, I'm resurrecting an old topic . I've been patient for awhile, and I'm sure this won't be read for another 6 months, but eh, oh well... When's the next chapter coming out, oh-greatest-author-of-SW-fan-fic? (I figured kissing ass might help the case a bit )

Holy crap, somebody posted on this board. And I read the post a mere 9 days after it was written!

Yeah, funny enough I got a PM from somebody else recently about chapter 27. I really need those reminders these days. I'm busier now than I've ever been and I've got the attention span of a ferret. It's pretty sad. Everytime I'm reminded of my fanfic, I think "Ooooh! Yes, gotta work on that!" And then approximately 2.3 seconds later, I've COMPLETELY forgotten about it.

I actually finished writing chapter 27 weeks--if not months--ago... I've really lost track of time. I think I left off somewhere in the middle of chapter 29. The problem was, I kept changing my mind about how the story would end, so I didn't want to post the chapter in case I decided to drastically change things, which would require me to change content in chapter 27. So yeah. I'm going to right now, before I get a chance to forget all about this again, print out what I've written so far so I can review it... um... whenever I get free time next... and see if I can come up with something relatively decent for the ending.

I get distracted WAY too easily.

Okay, manuscripts have been printed. Apparently I last worked on these things in MAY. Where the hell has the time gone? I thought I worked on those two months ago, tops. I swear, there's a time warp where my house is.

Lol... Well I was getting (read: have been for awhile) very impatient. It's a wonder I didn't say anything any sooner, as I'm an impatient person anyway. I didn't PM you, but I stole your AIM name so that way if you ever got on there I'd annoy you about it, but it seems you don't get on there very often, so I would have been out of luck anyway . Well, hopefully you won't go to work on it again and get distracted by that shiny paperclip.

Yeah, I should probably remove that AIM name link thingy... I haven't even installed AIM on my "new" computer that I bought in July of last year. So the odds of you finding me on there are pretty slim. I also pretty much never log on to MSN anymore. You'd have a better chance tracking me down on Facebook and messaging me there. Alternately, if you have Yahoo Messenger, you can reach me there too, cause while I'll probably never appear online (I'm always invisible), I do check my email via Yahoo Messenger when I'm home, so I can get those messages when I log in.

I definitely do need an occasional nudge, though... those paperclips are just so damn shiny. In fact, send me a PM/email/whatever this weekend to remind me, because while I did print my manuscripts yesterday, I ended up putting them in my prop bag (as I was on my way to acting class) so there's a good chance I won't remember that they're there at all until next Wednesday, when I have class again. Yeah, I'm getting pretty pathetic in my old age.

You're not old, just older than me , and besides, I get distracted easily too. I'm thinking of banning all shiny things, they grab your attention so easily .
