General:
♦ We are an APC (Account Per Character). Register with your character’s first and last name using proper capitalization. Ex: Harry Potter
♦ R-E-S-P-E-C-T. The most important rule of all is to treat others like you wish to be treated. If you can’t say anything nice at all, don’t say anything. The admins of Seiseux are intolerant of racism, sexism, bullying, homophobia, etc.
Applications & Characters:
♦ Do not post wip or incomplete applications, please.
♦ Do not post anywhere outside of the introduction and guest areas till your character is accepted by an admin.
♦ Check what we need/don’t need section before joining your character. This is really helpful in seeing if there are certain characters we are not accepting at the time or what is desperately needed for plots.
♦ There is no limit on the amount of characters you have as long as they are active. Active means posting with all of your characters (not just one) once a month in a roleplay thread. Not games, or IC character fun like owls, gossip, etc.
Writing:
♦ All posts must be written with proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation in past tense, third person point of view.
♦ Seiseux is an intermediate-advanced roleplay site. However, we do welcome all levels of roleplayers if they are willing to improve and learn. All we ask that you put effort into your posts and give something for the other roleplayer to reply to. One-liners are not allowed, however.
♦ Do not god-mod, power-play, mind-read, cross ic/ooc lines. Taking control of another’s character or using ooc knowledge icly is an example of what we are talking about.
♦ Seiseux is a mature site. That being said, if your post is going to include something graphic such as sexual references (absolutely no porn please!) or extremely graphic violence then please label it! This can be in the form of a large M in the thread title or if the graphic parts occur in the middle of the thread, a bold, red warning at the top of the post.
Graphics & Played bys:
♦ No gifs in avatars and sigs since it slows down computers for dial-up users.
♦Signatures cannot exceed 150 x 200 and avatars cannot exceed 500x250.
♦ Play-bys are optional. If you choose not to have a play-by, please include a detailed written description of your character in the appearance section of the application.
♦ All play-bys must be either a celebrity, musician, or model. Please do not use scene, stock photography (unless free and credit is given), or play-bys under 13 years of age. This is not only for legal reasons but because some scene models have asked their pictures not to be used.
