SEISEUX CURRENT EVENTS

The sorting ceremony as well as our first two months of the semester have passed! In a bit of past roleplay, we have the renaissance festival and student/staff mixer going on. Currently, the school is on lock down. No students or staff can get in or out.

NATIONAL CURRENT EVENTS

The Senate has been attacked by dark wizards. Masses have been murdered and the entire building destroyed. Seiseux and Salem are in lock down mode - no one can go in or out. The entire country is holding it's breath in fear of what is to come. Is there a dim light in the ever growing darkness or has the nation lost all its hope?

The year is 1975. The Dark Lord has risen to power, and the wizarding world as we know it is falling apart. For his first order of business, Lord Voldemort took over Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wiardry, placing Abraxas Malfoy as Headmaster of the famed school. His second act of power was to take over the Ministry, proclaiming himself the Minister of Magic. With both of these under his control, Lord Voldemort set a decree that all families must continue to school their children at Hogwarts. Nearly all of Hogwarts remaining professors are under the influence of the Death Eaters, who The Dark Lord has stationed at Hogwarts.

With nearly all of the professors under Death Eater influence, and the students being taught the Dark Arts, the school has become a wasteland of fighting and war. The Order of the Phoenix is gaining followers by the day, but they are cautious about their rebellion. Lord Voldemort has too much power, and the students are becoming restless. They have begun forming alliances of their own.

Each group has chosen a side to support in the ongoing war. Lord Voldemort is very aware of the growing tumult within the school, and he is enjoying watching them fight. With Hogwarts falling into chaos, what side will you choose? The Dark Lord, or the Order? Either way, you’re in for one hell of a fight.
