So I'm currently working on a novel, first one in my life. I've had many false starts in my life before, but I do have a completed first draft that came in at 80,358 words.
It is titled Duster and I am 20,000 words in my revision of it, because I didn't like certain sub plots, some characters were a bit shallow, and the ending was horrible. Anyways I am planning on releasing it on Amazon in about a month. Which would be pretty amazing to do considering I started in the middle of March and finished the rough draft by the middle of April, then I took a couple of weeks off to let the story settle. I have a friend doing the editing for me, and another person doing the Cover art so I am excited for this endeavor. So my question is this. Who else is working on something like this? OH and here is the only piece of fiction I have on the interwebs, a short story I did on a sunday when I was taking a break working on Duster http://www.fictionpress.com/s/3008336/1/A_...ame_of_Roulette. |
