Carly And Gibby?, From the preview, it looks like...

*shrugs* I don't know. It's just... from the preview of iKiss it looks like Carly and Gibby are in LOVE and they're going to make them the side pairing to Seddie. So I just thought, maybe... :unsure:

They're just acting. Besides in another episode Carly's supposed to be cranium over tarsals for some new guy.

I'm still intersted in whats going to happen with Carly and Gibby even though its for the web show :P

Me too. It would be pretty interesting to see what happens between those two...

Nah, it's not going to happen. Gibby is their wacky side-friend, there to make the main three look *normal* by comparison. Pretty hard to do, considering their usual pasttimes. Maybe Gibby might develop a crush on Carly in later seasons, but I doubt it. He's a fun character, though.

I've read some fic where Gibby and Carly are paired up together. They've run the gamut from sweet and cute to utterly weird and terribly written. When it's done well, the main gist of the pairing is "Carly wants Gibby to be liked for who he is, and then realizes that she likes who he is, too."

Honestly I love the idea behind Gibby's character. He's totally into doing his own thing, and he doesnt care if what he does is unique *or* normal, as long as he's happy doing it. So he wears normal clothes and has crushes on normal girls and gets bullied by Sam, but he also dances shirtless and has friends who speak in moon language and has no shame about doing strange things for a very popular webshow.

In a way I can see Carly being attracted to that, but usually she seems to go for the typical normal "hot" guys in skinny jeans with floppy hair. She cares way too much about what other people think of her than Gibby does. He'd need someone a lot wackier.

But for now, I hope that the Gibby/Carly subplot in iKiss is funny. It looks to me like they're making some sort of skit, like Melanie Higgles: Space Cheerleader, where Carly's on a beach making eyes at a cute guy but he turns out to be...dundundun, Gibby! Oh no! I'm just glad that Gibby doesn't seem to mind being the butt of jokes, as long as he's involved.

I think they would be a funny couple. :laugh:

Unexpected, that's for sure. But it's really just to confuse us in the end, we know who really gets down and...cough...well yea :laugh:

I can totally not see them as a couple at all,
Although, Gibby did end up picking Carly for his date in iWin a Date xD

O/T: Speaking of which, in iGirlify Sam, they have a sort of party for Sam where all their friends attended, and they all shared why they think Sam is cool.

If i remembered correctly, there's this part where Gibby mentioned asking Sam out to go to a dance, and Sam ended up breaking his finger or something.

Anyway, my point for the original topic is that I highly doubt there's anything real going on between Carly and Gibby. Gibby is just there for humor purposes, and a convenient filler character. Plus, those scenes with the two of them are just plain fake looking, in my opinion. Besides, Carly probably has high standards when it comes to guys. Remember Jake Crandall and Shane? How can gibby even compare? :laugh:

And Carly even screams and falls down in the promo when Gibby makes a kissy face :lol:

Haha, yea...but it looks like she does a kissy face too.

So much is going on, so we have no idea what's going on :P

I think the one where she made that kissy face is probably a dream or a nightmare.

Like she was expecting to kiss some one else, and was shocked when it turned out to be Gibby.
