This episode is a great example of Sam getting a little more normal and Freddie getting a little less. To me, this is progress. :)

I don't see a problem with Sam's change... but if Freddie wants to act like this from now on to be "normal", someone needs to smack that kid.
I almost hope Sam and Freddie are going to get into an argument over his behavior to her and he tells her why he's acting like a (insert word of choice). Which is because of the whole abnormal/normal nonsense.

I agree. I can't wait for the moment that they confront the situation.

I also have one scene in my head. Where they get into a fight where they're yelling things at each other. Each time one of them screams something at the other they take a step closer until they're faces are so close. Freddie could snap and grab her face and kiss her senseless. Then after Sam will run out (cause I think they should have THE scene in private, where as the kiss could happen in front of Carly) and Freddie will run after her and they'll have THE talk.

Freddie changing in his behavior doesn't necessarily involve longevity in his frustration with Sam but his behavior towards interacting with people. Freddie back in the day would have not called a lady his was helping a moron. Then to blow up at his boss the way he did? Nope.

Freddie is going through a tough time, it's not easy being in love with Sam Puckett without actually being able to date her.

TRU DA! I agree with you. It's looks like proof that he's really hurting inside and is so close to the end of his patience tether and it's only a matter of time before he decides to actively fight for what he wants.

I figure I can trim this episode down to its essence:

Carly and Sam show us just how much Freddie means to each of them. Carly is in a conversation with Freddie, and dashes away in the middle of Freddie's sentence because she spots a cute guy. Sam, on the other hand, takes advantage of an opportunity to get a job, so that she could work near Freddie.

Freddie can't pick up on his friends' behavior.

A great blog going around Tumblr right now (similar to the mental hospital mention) features these gifs.

Welcome!

If you're here, that means you must be a fan of Seddie, or at least curious about what the heck "Seddie" means. So, if you fall into either category, WELCOME!

Come in and talk about anything and everything Seddie, AKA Samantha "Sam" Puckett and Fredward "Freddie" Benson. The largest and most organized Seddie forum on the dotcom. Not dotnet. Dotnet is for losers. Join the rest of the Seddie fans and talk about anything and everything there is to Sam and Freddie.

About this site

Once upon a time...there was a lady named Era. She was a major sidekick shipper, and especially shipped Sam/Freddie, aka Seddie.

In early December 2008, TigerBeat Magazine printed spoilers for the episode "iKiss," inducing mayhem within the iCarly shipping community. Many non-iCarly forums had their "Other Ships" section overrun with rapid Seddie conversations.

In light of this, on December 13th, 2008, Bickering Sidekicks was born in order to give the squeeing a proper outlet. In one month, the board grew to over 400 members. It now has over 2000 members. Maybe you should join in?
