As far as we know, iThink They Kissed is the Season 3 premiere. So it looks like it's time for some forum changes.

We now have a Season 3 subforum. iThink They Kissed has been moved here, and the remaining episodes over at the Crystal Ball forum have been marked as Season 3.

I'm SO excited for this season! So many developments not to mention the ones we don't know about. :skippy:

So... Season 1 was more of a Creddie season, Season 2 was more of a Seddie season, so does that mean (since Dan now knows about shipping) that the two ships will "battle it out?" :eeps: *skippy5*

Maybe. Truth is, we're not 100% sure that TVGuide is actually implying a new season. All they really said was "new episodes".

I just now remembered! I saw a commercial for Season 2 volume 1 DVD coming out on sale August 18th, and that might help us know if Season 3 really is premiering in September. ^.^

I know this is Season 3 disscussion...but when did Season 1 volume 1 come out? Cuz, we know Season 2 came out...what, was it October? *blink* someone help me out here, :P

I give Nathan the benefit of the doubt with is popstar video but im taking whatever nathan said with a grain of salt. Battle it out? Highly doubt it.

I doubt they will literally have a battle. LOL

Depends on whether you'd call a water gun fight a battle. The biggest battle will be among the fans, and so far things have been pretty mild.

Whoever gets together (ack! Where's the faith? :P) we want the third wheel to be happy too. We're not going to be radicals and take the "everyone else might as well die" stance.

In any case, Dan developing both Seddie and Creddie (people at Livejournal have complained about our Harry Potter joke) at the same time has me scratching my head as to how he will resolve both relationships satisfatorily, but I have confidence he knows what he's doing.

PS: Will Nick end up leaping back and forth between old-kitchen-computer and new-kitchen-computer episodes? It would be confusing if they did.

I don't think there will be battle. The Ship That Shall Not Be Name will have some moments...I just don't think any will be near the level of the moment iKiss was. They might share a slow dan. Freddie will save Carly's life. (While a huge deal it's not anything to do with Romace. My guess is he saves it because duh Carly is a friend. He would have done the same if it was saving Sam's life. I can say this with confidence because of what Freddie did in iReiunite With Missy.)

It won't be anything that makes us sweat in our shoes.

Word. None of the things I've heard about the Creddie interaction in Season 3 is freak-out worthy yet. We'll have to wait and see. I bet we still get all this random Seddie flirting and interaction like in Season 2, and if we're lucky a couple of eps and moments like iKiss, iReunite, iGirlify etc. If they develop Creddie some more, that's fine, but I don't think they'll feel the need to tone down the Seddie in the meantime.

Yeah. I guess what i could have said to make my self more clear is that i don't expect the creddie moments to be romantic in any sense of the word. I mean i can just see some arguments made by some people after iSaved A Life that "Would Freddie have did that for Sam? I don't think so."

I can hear those arguments right now and they make me laugh just thinking about those arguments. Of course Freddie would do the same thing for Sam. I mean Freddie has said in front of everybody that he considers him and Sam close friends. What makes Freddie save Carlys life if that's in dead how it goes down is not Freddie's romantic feelings for her if those feelings are still there when that episode airs. It's his friendship with Carly that will make Freddie save her life. If it was Sam it would be his friendship with Sam that made him save her life.

So people can't say im looking at it through Seddie colored glasses. I would not be trying to pass it off as Freddie saved Sam's life because he feels something deeper for Sam. Of course i would think those feelings will be realized later on in the series but no way would i try to pass it off as "Freddie saved Sam's life because he want's to be with her." It would be because Sam is Freddie's friend that Freddie saved her life.

Long story short. It's a friendship thing. So I am not in denial of creddie moments that some may think because of some of my comments. I just don't see a triangle because it the three are such good friends. No way Dan will make Sam and Carly fight over Freddie. Whats going to happen imo is when Sam and Freddie realize there feelings for each other and get together Carly will be super happy for them. There won't be any jeolously or anything. Whatever moments happen between Carly and Freddie it's obvious it's nothing permanant or that causes friction in the threes friendship. A triangle would do just that. I don't see Dan going that route.

Also in some of the comments i made about that infamous pic Dan posted the reason im not sold on that is because of Dan's comments. His comments give plenty of logical reason for pause.

I look forward to season 3! It should be fun! I am starting to not worry about Creddie, and you're right, Creddie will only be temporary. There will be bits, such as Freddie saving Carly and their slow dance, it could just be a friendship thing, since Carly feels nothing for Freddie. It won't be anything compared to iKiss. We just have to wait and see. It is most likely going to be a bit of a mix of the ships, and if we get a season 4, it will be the ship that won the battle in season 3. I'm sure Dan wants us to be happy, but he should make a decision as well on which ship is final.

Yeah. I just remember that this is on nick. There will be a little drama but nowhere near like drama on other shows. No love triangles or anything like that on iCarly.

I think season 3 should introduce Carly a love interest. That's why I put Jason on my made up episodes. And Freddie should get a girlfriend. I picture Wendy ^^

Here's what I think might happen; Carly starts to like Freddie and they go out... but Sam feels really upset/jealous because of it and she's not sure why. She realizes after a bunch of denial and maybe a Spam conversation that she does like Freddie; at the same time, Freddie and Carly are realizing that they feel weird dating one another.
Not sure how my theory fits with what we know so far of season 3 (iThink and all) but... there it is.

That's most likely will happen, or it will just be a bit of a mix. The girls will mos likely fight over Freddie, or Carly will get a permanent love interest. Freddie will get over Carly and date somebody new, as Matt said. I see everyone's feelings changing for each other, but only when Creddie happens.

Freddie has a bunch of love interests coming up in Season 3 from what I gather.

1. Malika? Maybe she becomes Gibby's gf and Gibby gets angry at him for being around her.

2. Ginger Fox? The pop star

3. Not exactly a new love interest, but Carly will probably give him some closure

4. Sabrina? The tall curly blonde girl who dwarfs Freddie and gives him an inferiority complex :laugh:

5. I forgot the names of the two girls that he and Spencer were going to take out on a double date, but they are also formidable girls.

6. Wendy? I could see something with Freddie and Wendy. It might spark some smut fics like the nasty M rated fic about Freddie and Mandy. Of course it wouldn't be nearly as epic as Seddie.

And last but certainly not least, Sam. Whatever happens this upcoming season, we all know that they are made for each other.

That's a lot!! No matter what goes on between Carly, Freddie, and Sam, there will still be a whole lot of love going around in just this season! (And that was just the list for Freddie, too.)

I'm actually glad to see Freddie get a few new love interests. Sure, none of them are Sam, but at least it shows that he's moving away from obsessing over Carly and noticing that there ARE other girls out there.

I just don't think Dan will have Sam and Carly fight over Freddie. I don't think Dan will have Carly and Freddie date either. It just doesnt make sense that carly would all of a sudden want to date Freddie. Basically there will be some moments that bring closure to Freddies feelings for Carly. It won't be through them dating though.

The only love interest possibility i see is Sabrina. The others i don't consider love interests from what we have heard. "iBeat The Heat" is probably Freddie's "iMake Sam Girlier".

There's going to have to be this huge anticlimactic "Wow, nothing" moment, I think, to confirm beyond all doubt that Freddie is over Carly. Probably involving a kiss.

I'm still not sold on the kiss. Dan's comments "It MIGHT or MIGHT NOT happen" make me think that kiss is far from a sure thing. We will see though. It's not uncommon though for people to get over crushes without anything romantic happening. It will be interesting.

It wouldn't necessarily be for Freddie to get over Carly if they kissed and felt nothing. It would be more to shut up all the Seddie naysayers.

Yeah Ycc. The seddie Naysayers are funny. "Are you blind? Sam and Freddie Will Always Hate Each Other." Then a few minutes later Dan post's and the naysayer was flat out owned. Ycc though. The Seddie naysayers will never shut up though. They will make stuff up if they have to too try and prove there point.

I just realized right now that the season finale might not have Sam and Freddie together since the show's just in an indefinite hiatus and not really ending yet. I really don't see Sam and Freddie going out for one whole season and I'm all for the get together at the series finale thing as well. Oh, and anyone else find it so weird how by the time they're doing season 4, Jennette will be almost 18? It's not weird, but I just can't find the right word to describe what it feels :eeps:

I heard that this upcoming season there's going to be a Seddie Vs. **eddie battle from Nathan Kress himself.

It looks to be a VERY entertaining season.

This "battle" will most likely come from the shippers and not from the show itself. :P

I don't think he said that it was a battle. It was more of Freddie will explore more of Creddie and Seddie, and both sides will have it's moments, but that doesn't mean Sam and Carly will be fighting over him. Yes, it will be entertaining.

Ok...Here is what nathan said.

1.) He said there will be some discussion of the relationships between Sam/Freddie and Carly/Freddie.

He never specified what he meant by relationships. In a post made on tv.com by dan, dan said iThink They Kissed will be a relationship episode (Friendship). So knowing that who knows what Nathan meant by relationships. Friendship may have been all he was referring to there.

2.) He said in response to a reporter who said..."Will Freddie and Carly get together. That is what everybody want's. (yeah. the interviewer said that) Nathan responded with saying there will be some distinct Carly/Freddie interaction.

Who knows what that means. Remember it was a response to a question about **reddie. Who knows what Distinct means in this context. Just because something is distinct (distinguished as not being the same) doesnt mean it is romantic interaction. It's just different then what it is right now. The difference could be a lot of different things. It could be freddie not crushing on carly anymore and carly missing being pined over. Heck Nathan could have been referring to iSaved A Life and that Freddie saving Carly's life will lead to a change in there relationship. It might make Carly appreciate Freddie's friendship more. It doesnt have to be romantic at all.

3.) Nathan mentioned in that same above interview that theres a battle between Seddie and **eddie in the fandom and on the internet. He said nothing about the show itself there. He was talking about the fandom like what PDYC mentioned.

Also just FWIW...Nathan did mention Seddie without being asked in the interview i referenced in 2) and 3).

Well, for one thing, we'll just have to wait because nathans interview was a little confusing with the words he used. Personally I think he was trying to be secretive cuz hes not allowed to say anyting. Thats one of my opinions. I also think we all hav to remember that there was an episode about seddie, and there has not been a whole episode deticated to creddie yet. So right now they might be holding back on creddie so they can sneek up with a surprise!

I'm sort of with you snowflakes. Nathan did use some interesting terms. He even mentioned in the interviews he couldnt say too much. So i completely agree with you there.

Again...I don't think Dan does the we gave seddie fans this so we have to give creddie fans the same thing or vice versa. Whatever dan does it's not because he is trying to be fair. It's him taking his story where he want's it to go.

But i completely agree on your first points. It's not like nathan hasnt been misunderstood in the past. ;)

While I do believe that the subject/relationship of Creddie needs closure, I don't believe we need several episodes dedicated to the subject. The subject has actually been slowly closing itself throughout season 2 as we've clearly seen throughout most resent iCarly episodes. Even Dan himself has stated that Freddie is losing his crush on Carly. So this is clearly something that the Seddiers aren't being to hopeful about. :) Which is wonderful.

And at this moment I hope everything makes sense.. because it's really late, and I'm extremely tired. :eeps:

I wouldn't want Freddie's crush to be just forgotten about. Creddie does need closure. We can deal with a few Creddie moments for that, right? :P

It think that Creddie closure moments are going to be sweet and cute, and i really want to see them.
