Ruffmanfan882 posted this on today-

" Dan tweeted this Just had a great script read with the @iCarly cast! And I talked with @NathanKress on the way out. We may have a fun surprise for you!

nathan replyed Oh dear... no pressure or anything. Hahah Could it be Nathan finally taking off his shirt for the show.

Darthleroy is a an actor. Check out his profile. He was the one, who right about ILost My Mind being an episode when some of thought it was fake. Anyway, he claims that #501, most likely the first episode of what we're calling Season 6 is "iGot Jungle Worms.""

Matt Strelow - January 26, 2012 01:19 AM (GMT)
So they're really ignoring the fact that Sam was left in Malaysia?

flute88 - January 26, 2012 05:54 AM (GMT)
So there's a post going around Tumblr with a script fragment - apparently someone claiming to be Nathan posted it on Instagram earlier today? (I don't know the first thing about Instagram, so.) This is the piece:

And this is, as far as I can tell, what the blurred section says:

Sam: And not much of a wrestler either.
Carly: Anyway, Spencer has this crazy idea about doing our own Olympics, because the committee has rejected all his favorite sports.
Sam takes her foot off Freddie and he gets up, brushing himself off.
Freddie: What are his favorite sports?
Carly: Oh, you know. Mostly made-up ones.
Sam: Sounds promising.
Freddie: So is this going to be a segment or something?
Carly: I don’t know. Spencer’s really excited about it. He’s getting posters made up today.

It looks like the other script bits we've gotten, if I'm recalling correctly... not exactly sure how this would tie in with the possible "iGot Jungle Worms" title, but whatever. :P

A few years back there was a fake episode script called "iWanna Gold Medal". Judging by the plot, I think this is the infamous script.

We haven't seen any casting sides for a while now. Dan has gotten a little wary of us speculators.

Blame Noah Munck for the missing cast sides. Someone told him some information about the episode 'iGot a Hot Room.' He didn't know where the fan got the information from, and he must have told Dan to get rid of the sides.

Thank for the head up

Here's iWanna Gold Medal. It's on page 5

iGot Jungle Worms is trending on Twitter at the moment, because, apparantly, according to their many fan clubs, the British boyband, One Direction, will be guest starring in this, and performing their hit song, "What Make's You Beautiful".

One Direction came third in the UK XFactor two years ago or so. They were mentored by Simon Cowell. They really are huge in the UK and Ireland. I really have no idea though why they would be guest starring in an American show like iCarly since as far as I am aware, they are not famous in America at all. Seems too weird to be true but this is what is being said. No confirmation from any official source yet.

candii_rockz - January 26, 2012 03:41 PM (GMT)
Cheese. I like One Direction. I love iCarly. But man, iCarly's getting a LOT of hate. It's the usual.

llb33n - January 26, 2012 03:43 PM (GMT)
Ugh, I hope that's not true. Do not want any more musical guests. I find them unnecessary.

dragonflies - January 26, 2012 04:04 PM (GMT)
iCarly is not a kids show, I can't take people seriously who probably have never watched an episode yet bash the show.

That's like saying cartoons are only for kids, when most have alot of sexual innuendo

thefbm - January 26, 2012 09:21 PM (GMT)
Umm, iCarly has bigger views than American Idol let alone XFactor and we've been nominated for three emmys.....If anything this will help 1Direction for fans in America. ALSO THEY ARE THE SAME AGE!

It's better that way, I think. An episode about getting Sam back from a foreign country? A little dramatic for iCarly. We might get a throwaway line about it in a future episode, but I doubt it. It's just one of those endings, you assume she got back to the US sometime in between iTF and the next episode.

Eh, musical guests are okay as long as they overdo it.
I'm perplexed by the huge fan following that One Direction has. I mean, they're good, yes, but not super-exceptional, to me. Pretty cool guests on the show, though.

The funny thing is, there are a ton of posts that say things like "WTH?????!!!! 1direction is gunna b on icarly??? That stupid shows 4 lyke 11 year olds!!!" I then look at their Tumblr picture and sure enough, I see a 13 year old with a duck face. I'm starting to think that One Direction fans are all 13 year old girls.

The only reason I've even heard of One Direction is because of Twitter/Tumblr. I've never heard their music on the radio, or ever seen their faces on TV though ...

But I'm outside their target demographic ...

Do you live in North America? Because that may be the reason you may not have heard them on the radio or seen them on TV or anything. They're huge in the UK right now because they made it big on the UK Xfactor, that's how they're known. Their album hasn't been released in North America yet. I'm not sure about the States but I know that in Canada it's going to be released in March. :D

SeddiexxMischief - January 27, 2012 02:51 AM (GMT)
I've been reading the name feeling like I recognize it, then I realized I've seen several Doctor Who vids to their music. I like them. One British exposure for another :D

SeddieTheRealDeal - January 27, 2012 03:38 AM (GMT)
Guys, the iCarly twitter just tweeted "Back on the iCarly set for season 5! We think it's gonna be a GOOD GOOD season!"

I guess we can title the sub-thread season 5 now.

Also the pic they tweeted along with it is one of the ones floating around tumblr of some of the cast on the set. I love how on it everyone has scared looks on their faces but for Miranda. It's humorous to me. The only thing to make that one picture even better would be if Jerry were in it. I love our cast so much

Oops. I looked at it again. Wrong pic. No miranda on this one. I was thinking about the other one floating around tumblr. This one is with all but for Miranda and Jerry.

Sorry a bit OT.

chibihoshi101 - January 27, 2012 04:23 AM (GMT)
The only reason why I've heard of OneDirection and like the song 'What Makes You Beautiful' is because a few weeks ago, I was bouncing around YouTube for some good iCarly AMVs, and I did find an awesome Seddie one with this song.

Here's the link for anyone interested...

But anyway, even if OD does end up being on the show, it won't be for long anyway. Plain White T's guest starred in iRue the Day, but even though they were the catalysts for the sub-plot, they were on for there for maybe 5 minutes performing during the webshow. David Archuleta was in iRocked the Vote, but he had less screentime than the PWT's and didn't even sing. Good Charlotte was in iGo to Japan, and they did perform but only snippets of them were shown.

In other words, I don't see what the big deal is. You have one band who at the most isn't going to get more then 5 minutes of screen time on one episode. Plus, if I remember correctly, iCarly hasn't had a musical guest since season 2 anyway so it's not like this is an all-time thing. XP

alishkapish - January 27, 2012 04:39 AM (GMT)
So I decided to peek at tumblr to see what you guys were talking about and LOL at the drama.

Newsflash, but they are not famous in North America at all and if this (that they are coming on iCarly) is true then it's probably actually a really big deal for them. Anyways, since I have never heard of these people, this all seems really random.

A la Carly: Those people just need to calm down and take a hot bath or something.

Yeah but aren't Dan & Co. calling it Season 6, which is actually what it is?

ycc1988 - January 27, 2012 10:29 AM (GMT)
iTunes will call it Season 6. Production-wise the codes are in the 500s.

Seddierulesall - January 27, 2012 11:41 AM (GMT)
I've never heard their music but recently I've heard of them. They seem too out of place to be in this episode and I just can't see them actually being on the show.

As for the "cliffhanger" about Sam in Malaysia. Dan has done these types of endings before, like in iTTK (a popular cliffhanger). Dan ends the show wacky and then leaves it to the audience to think of how the characters got out of the situation. Sending Sam off to Malaysia was just a funny thing to do, I doubt he was I visioning a two part episode for it.

So Sam is laying on the couch hanging out with Carly as Freddie enters from the elevator. Typical behavior. :P

I hope Dan has time for a run-through video.

As for how to label these season forums, I would label them how iTunes has them.

There isn't a season 4a and 4b and this new season should be 6. I think having them as they are currently labeled confuses some people.

ycc1988 - January 27, 2012 12:08 PM (GMT)
Production wise, Season 2 (45 half-hours) was split into 2 seasons for marketing purposes, whereas Seasons 3 and 4 are both 13 half-hours only. Nick didn't even advertise iLMM as a new season.

I'm kind of against every scheme. Nothing seems to sort out all the conflicts we currently have.

Anyway, about OD. Some OD fans resent the iCarly appearance, I say whatever. You can't lose fans you never had.

Jakeo - January 27, 2012 01:35 PM (GMT)
Just saw this:

Not actually about One Direction on iCarly, but it says One Direction are going on a US tour in a couple of weeks. What a weird coincidence. So maybe there is some truth in it as unbelievable as it sounds for all the reasons everyone already stated. To those who haven't heard of them, they really are very famous in the UK and Ireland, but they are not famous in America. You would not have seen mentions of them unless you frequent social networks where their fans trend things about them all the time, the same way things get trended almost daily about Justin Bieber being "Unbeleiberble" or whatever, and Selena Gomez being an inspiration.

At any rate I don't like One Direction, but they are not bad by any means I guess. I saw all the criticism on Twitter when I first posted about it, but don't anyone mind any of that. It's always easy for people to make defamatory comments about things they don't know anything about, and it probably comes from people who just idolise them into a kind of "they can do no wrong" mindset. It is true that the XFactor UK certainly has many millions more viewers than iCarly, but those fans are just one demographic who probably see them as the pinnacle of teen boyhood. Most teens on this side of the pond probably stop watching the likes of Disney and Nick at age 12/13. I think we "grow up" very fast over here.

As for the season numbering, how do they rack up on the DVD releases in America? Those numbers may come from official marketing. Or we could wait and see how iTunes releases it, normally they give it a number as well. Surely there is no urgency in it anyway.

ycc1988 - January 27, 2012 01:42 PM (GMT)
I think the DVD releases do it by production season and iTunes does it their own way.

flute88 - January 27, 2012 07:48 PM (GMT)
So there's an MTV article saying that 1D has been booked to be on iCarly and giving a synopsis:

The guys will be on set Monday to tape their appearance on the episode, during which they will be play themselves and perform "What Makes You Beautiful."

According to a synopsis on the episode, "Carly returns home sick after a trip and discovers that One Direction has accepted an invitation to perform on their web show. Not long after arriving, bandmate Harry becomes sick and we see Carly doting over him. Realizing Harry is playing sick for the attention, they hatch a plan to get him back in the group by telling him Gibby has become their newest bandmember. Meanwhile, Spencer becomes a personal trainer and gives a bratty girl a makeover."

They ARE in/on their way to (not exactly sure) LA right now, so... sounds like it's happening.

Seddierulesall - January 27, 2012 08:01 PM (GMT)
The DVD releases go by production order. iGAHR through iParty was released as the complete third season.

I can't post the pic because I am on my phone but Boog!e posted a couple pics from the set. In one of the pics from the studio set, you can see a drum kit set up and a guy holding a guitar (you can only see his back). So apparently some kind of musical guest will be in this episode. Not to say that it will in fact be One Direction.

Wait...MTV article confirms it? Well then...the casting call we got is confusing then. I'm not crazy about that synopsis.

HateMe_LoveMe - January 27, 2012 08:13 PM (GMT)
I think the casting information for 501 was for a young girl and her mother (part of Spencer's plot, most likely). The information that we have for 502 was more detailed.

I'm not crazy about that synopsis either. It kind of sounds Dingo'ish to me, but we'll see.

snoopy87 - January 27, 2012 11:39 PM (GMT)
Wow, I don't care for this synopsis at all .... too much musical guest influence for me. It's one thing to have them sing a song at the end of the episode or just be talked about in the background. But to have this much presence in an episode? With a possible fall for the Shay charm?

No thanks.

Although they could portray him like Wade Collins ala "iRocked the Vote." That might make it better.

I hope Spencer's storyline will keep me amused and that Sam & Freddie have some antics happening.

I'm also having trouble connecting the dots on how they got the title "iGot Jungle Worms" for this? Is that the fake illness the guy claims to have? I also think of the song "Jungle Fever" too. I enjoyed the idea Glitter64 and I conjured up a few days ago much more! (Crazy hijinks in the jungle/forest area of Mexico, after Spencer convinces them to take a road trip.)

thefbm - January 28, 2012 04:21 AM (GMT)
Err synopsis doesn't sound the greatest but we'll see.

ycc1988 - January 28, 2012 05:34 AM (GMT)
It's what happens when you write an episode specifically to accommodate a set of guest stars. iMTFL was fine because Carly's dad was already established as in the military and Mrs. Obama only played a limited role, but this is different.

Don't tell me: "jungle worms" is the name of that OD guy's fake disease.

jennytree - January 28, 2012 06:10 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I was hoping the band would just pop in at the end to play their song, kind of like the Plain White Ts appearance. This sounds like at least some of them will be present throughout most of the episode. Hopefully their acting skills are halfway decent, but I'm keeping my expectations super low to avoid disappointment.

I have to say I'm a little more irritated by this guest star announcement now that I've made the mistake of checking out tumblr.

On a positive note, it's all uphill from here, right? And I just love all the tweets and pics we're getting from the cast.

I'll be so glad once they finish filming this episode. I'm getting tired of all these 1D fans griping about how the boys have to "subject" themselves to such an "awful" show and how it'll make them "completely change" their fanbase. That's pretty much all you see on the iCarly tag on Tumblr right now.

Give me a break fandom.

dragonflies - January 29, 2012 10:58 PM (GMT)
Uh it's not like they were forced into doing this  Their fans sound like a bunch of whiny babies, I want to get them a binky & a bottle :...:

flute88 - January 29, 2012 11:03 PM (GMT)
Oh man, I know. It's driving me up the wall. I've never bothered to Tumblr Savior ANYTHING before - never even bothered to get it - but the other day I finally got it and Tumblr Savior'd anything 1D I could think of.

Which for now is fine, but once they start filming (and once the episode airs!) I'm going to be torn between having to see people whine and moan in our tag or actually being able to see and reblog stuff from the episode.... Such are the problems of a fangirl, I guess. :P

kagomesashi - January 30, 2012 02:29 AM (GMT)
I totally understand you guys, I never answer a post in tumblr, usually I reblog or like things from there, but today I saw one post of this girl who was saying nasty things to the fandom, and believe me, my self control was gone. Obviously I answer her with courtesy and demonstrating that we are mature.
But yes, I want this to get over, is so annoying to have them in our tag complaining or even worse sending threatening words to Miranda.

thefbm - January 30, 2012 02:59 AM (GMT)
And this is why I ignored the iCarly tags this past when this episode airs....
