Beautiful and dark, the majsetic city of Esera is the epicenter to the trade within Ossera – legal and otherwise. If it can be bought, traded, bartered for or stolen it can be found somewhere in the city (be it on the surface or underground). Recent restrictions on trade has made it harder for illegal goods to be moved but smugglers and pirates always find a way.

The capitol of Ossero, Nerus is the industrial heart pumping life into the realm of Ossero. A constant smog hangs low over the city that from a distance makes the island appear to be trapped in perpetual darkness. Little light penetrates leaving the surface of the planet cool and dark. People do live here, their homes rising in tall metal structures high above the black cloud that is the result of their livelihoods. Few are worried about the ecological ramifications of such intense industrialization – they can always just build a new city, right?

Located on the very outer edges of the Skylands, Cav is small, dingy and most often forgotten. One of the first of the colonized cities, Cav was used as a test and then turned into a junkyard. That didn’t stop people from making a home there. Mostly inhabited by would-be inventors the small floating isle offers a treasure trove of broken bits and pieces. Best of all? Cav usually stays off the official radar making it an ideal hide out for thieves, brigands and air pirates.

Once a point of great power, the floating city of Ustia is now the only free-floating city in all of Ossero. Once controlled by the Rifters during the Great War the city now boasts the finest military academy and produces the best trained pilots in the world.

Full of art, music, literature and magic Persephone is the place to be for aspiring artists and inventors alike. Persephone is the largest floating city in Ossero and possesses the prestigious University of Science as well as the newly re-established Academy of Magic. There has been a great deal of animosity lately between the university students and those that attend the Academy.

The medical center of Ossero only the best of the best are allowed to study here. Those that don't say on to practice medicine in Valhaven move out to the other cities to set up private practices or join other doctors in their efforts. Run and funded by Skyland Alliance, Valhaven is the last place you want to end up if you're on the wrong side of the law.

Despite its desert climate, the city of Kalmos is one of the most populous in Ossero. Perhaps its closeness to the heart of Ossero makes it seem less primitive, whatever the cause; it is a hot spot for tourism and vacationers from across the world. This of course makes the city itself highly profitable being home to coveted pink sand, clear water springs and oasis, and casinos, lots and lots of casinos. With resorts a plenty and places to gamble, trouble is sure to follow. Beneath the gilded streets of Kalmos a darker, seedier world thrives. Illegal gambling, black market trade, slavery, forced prostitution, fixed gambling in the world above, all of this thrives and bubbles just below the surface, threatening every now and then to bubble over and burn the unsuspecting. Its sister city Esera is just as guilty (if not more so ) in the crimes of its brother.

Located on the outer rim of the Alliance, Balen is an impenetrable iron fortress used to house Ossero's prisoners. Whether you've been arrested for something as insignificant as theft or as vile as murder, Balen is a place few are willing go and even fewer ever leave.

The largest district in Valencia. It is located to the north and covered in a vast, dense evergreen forest. The people that live deep within these woods live in cities built high above the grounds and the dangers the forest holds. These cities are difficult to find and heavily guarded. Most that wander too close rarely live to speak of it.

Located south of Athoden, Issurn is mostly open tundra overtaken by harsh winter storms nine months out of the year. Unless you are familiar with these parts it is extremely easy to get lost in the frozen wasteland. It is here that many believe Sebastian Maser went missing as much of the tundra once belonged to Ossero.

Ranging from the tip of the northern forests in Athoden to the fringes of the frozen tundra in Issurn, Blasrak is the closest the Valencian people get to any sort of temperate climate. It is located on the eastern side of the Engare Mountain range. It is the only part of Valencia with coastal access making it a vital hub for trade, food and information.

Access to the ground below the cities is forbidden unless you have the right credentials or a work license that allows you access to the ferry that makes daily trips to and from the farms and mines located on the ground below.

Beautiful and endless, the sky is home to anyone wanting to stake claim to it. Pirates, merchants, naval forces, anyone with a ship can call a little piece of blue home.
