Flag History Challenge, Lets gather the facts and have some fun.

Ok Mates I have a challenge for you. Soon it will be September and the flag will be turning 2 years old. My Challenge is gathering the flags history. This can be done by interviewing past flag members, things you remember, or other various places. It would be nice to be able to update the Yppedia with flag history and also do a flag trivia for the anniversary. Some things I would like to see included is founding crews, monarch list, what crews branched off and started thier own flag, Where did the founding crews come from. This is just a few ideas to get you all started. Now the fun part. I will pay 1K for each bit of info posted to the first person that posts it. The person that posts the most usable information will win a prize at the end. This is open to all flag members. If you need help pointing you in the right direction please dont be afraid to ask. I even might have alot of answers. So go on out and start hunting for the flags history. You have from now until Sept. 1st. Remember the more information we dig up the more fun it can be.

I will be posting my comments in the post in blue. They can be hints or corrections.

hehe, monarchs i know are Rato -> Jalex -> Lizzy?

I know that the name was made from a combination of mine and rato's ideas.

1)Royal Pillagers and Midnight Aurora founded the flag (this is partially correct we had more then 2 founding crews)
2) One of the founding crews Midnight Aurora formed from an already existing crew called Dark Legion

3)Royal Pillagers the other founding crew of Imperial Coalition came from the crew Vilains Bandits

1. I seem to remember that Royal Pillagers were in Euphoria and then briefly the Screaming Skulls before being one of the founding crews of the IC.

2. We were undefeated in blockades until we were beaten by Antheas at Harmattan Island on 27th May 2007.

3. We were ranked No. 1 in flag fame for a while. (how long did it take IC to become #1 flag)
4. Swords of Steal left recently prompting a meeting resulting in a large debate on monarchy and the future of the flag.

5. The flag was founded on 8th September 2005 (this one is a little cheeky)

6. Tigerleaf Mountain was conquered on the 17th September 2005 by defeating Requiem. On the second weekend of the IC.

7. Currently our blockade record is 5-1.

8. We were also subject to the first ever Brigand King Blockade on the ocean. Defeating the All Consuming Flame at Ansel 3-1on 16th June 2007.

9. Other blockades:
Tigerleaf defended against requiem 24th September 2005
Tigerleaf defended against infierno de los diablos 2nd October 2005
Ansel was aquired on 11th February 2006 by defeating choking hazard
Chocolate was defeated at typhoon in an event blockade on 2nd September 2006
(this blockade was one of a series of event blockades organised by chocolate in September last year)

10. All of these blockades were non-sinking except harmattan.

My memory is a bit fuzzy .. but I recall being in Culo Hunters when we joined IC with Kornflake as monarch (I think) and Oneeyejoe as Captain (I think). I was just a little fledgeling pirate at the time under a different ID so it is hard to recall. Later .. under duress from the OM's Culo Hunters had to change their name to Dinero Por Sangre, which always gave me a headache every time I had to type it . When Navalpride took over the crew the name was again changed to Insomniacs, and then BOTC.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Kornflake was never Monarch of IC he was Monarch of TSS although i consider CH now BotC a founding crew they joined a few days after IC was formed after a few long meetings.

I reently lost my hard drive on my computer but thnkfully was able to retrieve the files from it which include alot lot of conversations from the formation of the flag. I will be posting more later but right now it is time to fix dinner!

I was thinking Ancient was Monarch but have not talked to you on it yet. He was before Pemnuts correct?

Ancient will have been the SO in Michaelana's crew. I cant remember him being monarch, this was way back before i got deleted due to inactivity, but if he was it probably wasnt for long. I know he decided to leave the game pretty soon after leaving our old crew Heaven nor Hell (now merged with Polish War Fog), and him leaving is what prompted Michaelana to disappear i think.

Ok i have a question, what crew was I in that was a founding crew of IC and what position was i in that crew?

Also how many crews have i been in in the flag as Rascalred and how many times have i left and returned?

Nope i was a founding member was inthe crew Treasure Hunters captain being Pemnuts first monarch of IC.

Lucathius Brandinni Zepplin and myself left the flag to form our own crew United Legion, but i returned to TH shortly after. During this time i spent a brief period in MA.

TH left the flag and i left TH to form my own crew Rascals Raiders, We rejoined IC but left to form our own flag Raiders of the Arches. got to number 2 in flag fame.

Things fell apart and the crews name was changed bye\ lucathius as i had to take a leave the flag was disbanded. When i returned the crew name was changed to AoH with lucathius captain and we formed Card Sharks.

Then we wandered around a bit and came back to the flag.
