Logic stared at Rizi as the man explained his "brilliant" plan, which consisted entirely of...a whore house. He was processing this idea--as well as Rizi mentioning he was both well-versed in criminal activities and was also a sailor, strongly suggesting Rizander was a pirate--even as he watched Dev take to the skies with his four children on his back. Vy had wandered off into the forest, although they could still see one another, and Tavi offered no input whatsoever. That being said, Logic felt the Spoink's disapproval of him hitting someone with the intent to knock them out.

"Oh, come on, Tavi, I'm not actually going to hit her," Logic assured him. "I'll just pay her a little extra to have a night o--" He cut himself off as he felt his pocket and frowned. There were a few loose coins, but certainly not as much as he thought he had. The kidnappers in the desert must have quickly taken most of the money he had on him. Bastards. "Okay, so I probably will end up knocking her out. Actually, you will."

    "ME?"

"Yes. You can just use your powers to render her unconscious. Quick, painless, and simple. Or would you rather I find a frying pan?"

Tavi growled something inaudible, but Logic took it as agreement to his simple plan, so he looked towards Rizi. "You know what? Sure. Being a criminal can't be much worse than a potato salesman. Still, I've no idea what the hell I'm going to do afterwards, but I guess I'll figure that out tomorrow." He shrugged, then paused, thinking. "I still have no idea where the hell to GO, though."

Kameena despite her initial burst of energy here and there looked like she needed some rest. In fact, the whole lot of Pokemon that joined Reiser makeshift team needed some rest. Lassie and Calvin had almost dropped into their poke balls and Reiser swore he saw some of the Murkrows trying to climb on Dev’s back and get a free ride to their nest. How Dev still had energy carry on was a mystery to Reiser.

"Erm. Yeah. So do you know your way around here, Rizi?"

“Well, we can’t find legal means for rest. For one, you are harboring a dragon type and they kill anyone seen being friendly towards them so…lucky for you, illegal activities are my forte. I also hate to break this to your, but you were once a traveling potatoes merchant, if even a word breathes that you associated with people in Bravaria , bad shit is going to happen,” Reiser pointed out with rather joyfulness at being a criminal. The one thing he was good at being…well that and a womanizer. “But I’ve been here. I’m a sailor, you know. And all sailors of the water knows, when need of cheap rooms and for no one to find you, a whore house calls!,” Reiser trailed off as his gaze traveled down Logic, “You don’t have to sleep with anyone…just knock the whore out cold and say she was drunk and toppled out of the bed. I mean that‘s what I do sometimes. Seriously, the whore had no experience whatsoever but that is a story for another time.”

Yawning, he returned Kameena from a mate that approved of her getting rest. He glanced at Amrita who gave him the most disgusted look ever known to a pokemon. He took a empty Poke ball and threw it at her, semi surprised when she didn’t use Psychic to mental bat the ball away. Watching the ball roll on the ground until a lick could be heard, he didn’t waste time to call her back out since she was fairly weak already. The Crustle however, ended up caught after a quick Superpower from the ever so helpful Dev. He pocketed Mikhail’s ball before patting Dev on the neck.

“Well buddy, if I ever need you or if you want to drop a line, I don’t mind,” Reiser told him before he took to the sky with his four kiddies on his back.

A rare emotion of guilt build up on Reiser. He remembered the letter that he had absentmindedly read. Of course, he would remember the name because the little eight year old, -yes the kid had clearly stated his age and his handwriting wasn’t the best- claimed to be his son. Of course, why he didn’t throw out the later was a clear lapse of routine. But maybe…no…maybe…no…maybe….he would see him once.

”Well what do you say, Logic? You up for some illegal activities?”

Libra had landed without Logic really telling her to and gently laid down Freya on the ground. Logic himself slipped off of her back and stared at the redhead for a few moments, then rubbed his forehead with the heel of his hand. "Libra, could you...you know..." He couldn't quite bring himself to say "dig a grave for her", but Libra understood, and she picked up the girl and flew off into the forest. Logic felt very much like he should apologize to Freya for what had happened even though it hadn't been his fault. He'd seen the collapse coming but done nothing to try and prevent it. It was hard to try something, though, when you already knew you were doomed to fail. He was always amazed when people called clairvoyance a gift.

He sat down on a large nearby rock as Dev and Kameena landed and Rizi slid off of the male Honchkrow's back with Amy in his arms. He smiled a little as he saw the enthusiastic greeting the two large bird Pokémon received from their Murkrow children. At least some good had come out of their little trip underground. However, he, for one, had had enough of being below the surface world.

At Rizi's asking whether he was alright, Logic nodded slightly. "Yeah." He looked towards Amy, fairly worried for her. "We should probably find a proper place for all of us to rest. I'll just make sure Libra doesn't get out of her Poké Ball."

As if responding to her name, Libra suddenly reappeared by Logic, landing next to him and looking sad. He rubbed her neck and quietly thanked her, then returned her to her ball for a well-earned rest. At the same time, he remembered Tavi, along with the Poké Ball Freya had thrown at him. He wasn't looking forward to breaking the news, but it would be cruel to put it off, so he released both the Spoink and what turned out to be a strangely-coloured Leavanny. Immediately Logic could sense the Spoink was angry with and disappointed in himself, and he immediately tried to reassure him. "Tavi, you did your best. Even Amy couldn't stand up to all of those rocks. It's not your fault Freya..."

The Spoink said nothing, and Logic realized he could now feel a new presence: that of the shiny Leavanny. Tavi had apparently established a mental link between them, so they could actually talk. Words seemed to be pointless, however, as the Leavanny seemed to pick up on what was wrong, and why she was now in the hands of another Trainer. Logic sensed the realization, and for a moment, there was nothing but shock. That is, until he felt the anger, and he barely had enough time to jump off of his rock and out of the way before the Leavanny's glowing green arms slashed straight through the rock in a Leaf Blade attack. Logic paled slightly, but he quickly had to dodge again as the Leavanny quickly turned to come after him again. "You did NOTHING!" she shrieked, slashing again, and again, Logic barely dodged her.

"Look, I couldn't do anything, it was happening too--" he began, but was cut off as her leaves began to glow blue now and she attempted an X-scissor on him. He felt Tavi wanting to try and stop her, but Logic quickly dissuaded him. It seemed as though the Leavanny--Vy, her name was, according to Tavi--was bent on at least harming him, and she wouldn't let anyone get in the way.

"First Jaron!" Vy slashed as she put emphasis on the name. "Now Freya!" Another Leaf Blade, which cut through a thin tree as easily as it was paper. Logic was readying himself to dodge again when the Leavanny stopped. It took Logic a moment to realize she was crying, and now he didn't know what to do. Well, might as well be open now instead of her finding out later.

"Look, Vy...I'm...I'm kind of a psychic," he admitted, glancing at Rizi briefly. It had sort of been obvious before. "And earlier, just before Freya and I escaped from the cavern we were being held in, I saw it. The cave-in. And what would happen to Freya." As the Leavanny turned a pair of angry, watery eyes towards him, he automatically put up his hands in a defensive gesture. "Look, I know it's no excuse, but the future can't be changed. Everything I see--everything--comes true, no matter what I do to try and stop it. And whenever I do anything about it, I just tend to make things worse. I've even made them happen before. I can't stop what's going to happen in the future. I can only see what's to come."

Vy was silent for a few moments, staring at the ground, before she looked back at Logic. The anger had faded, but now all that was left was a great sadness and loneliness. "I'm sort of sorry I attacked you. Now I've nowhere to go, but since Freya passed me over to you, I think she would want me to stick with you." It wasn't really a question, but Logic nodded slightly anyway.

Now, he looked back towards Rizi, a little sheepish. "Erm. Yeah. So do you know your way around here, Rizi?" He would have asked Vy, but he sensed she needed some time to herself, if only in her thoughts.

Reiser heard Logic uh…logical announcement as he glanced at the shiny Crustle who walked over to one of the wall and started to use Dig to create a tunnel for himself leading to the shoreline implying that they were only a few feet into the river. Climbing onto Dev, holding Armita in his arms, Kameena flying beside them, they manage to make it to the surface .

Kameena flew towards her kids who popped up like popcorn. Lassie and Calvin looked worn out from entertaining Kameena’s kids. Dev landed a few feet from his kids who were busy tackle hugging their momma.

Reiser climbed off and was surprise to see the Crustle surface not that far from them. He found a potion for Amrita and applied and took a step back since Amy and him were having issues.

Glancing over to Logic he wondered if he was all right.

Freya? Amrita struggle to ask in his mind as she hover a bit wobbly from side to side.

She didn’t make it. Amy, you did your best to save her. Reiser told her as this guilty look cross her face. She glanced over to Kameena and Dev who were herding their babies together. Adorable, Reiser thought as returned Lassie and Calvin to their respected Poke balls.

“Logic? Are you all right?” Reiser asked as he gathered the Elgyem back into his arms.

Worried about Amy as he was, Logic rushed over to Freya first after Rizi pulled her out of the rock pile. As he knelt by her side, though, he already knew it was too late. There was a trail of blood running down her face from where a rock had struck her head. He could only hope it had been quick. He tightened his grip around the Poké Ball in his hand, the one Freya had thrown at him right before Amy's shield gave way. It was obvious she'd known what was about to happen to her moments before it occurred, and yet instead of trying to save herself, she gave her Pokémon to him. Logic hadn't known her well, and he had been bracing himself for this even since his premonition, but it didn't prevent the hurt he felt.

Still, time did not stop when a person died, and although the rumbling ceased once more, Logic had a feeling those were not the last of the tremors. He looked over at Libra, who had followed him over, and she nodded her answer to a question unspoken. She picked up Freya in her short arms as Logic stuck Freya's Poké Ball in his pocket and went over to Rizi. To Amy, he said quietly, "Thank you, Amy...and I'm sorry. I saw that coming and didn't bother to warn any of you." Aloud, he said, "Rizi, we need to leave." He glanced up at the opening the ceiling's collapse had created, thinking they could go out that way, when he noticed a small stream of water trickling down. As he watched, within moments, the tiny stream had turned into a small waterfall, and more and more water was starting to gush into the hole, splashing down on the rock pile below.

"Shit, Rizi, we need to leave now!" Logic exclaimed with more urgency, darting back to Libra. She was in the air the moment he had hopped onto her back, and past the water and through the hole within a few seconds. As she rose higher into the air, Logic looked over her side to see the lake water moving along a dug-out pathway that looked to be extremely recent--almost freshly-made. Not only that, something in the water was moving, and it took him a moment to realize it was a Whiscash that seemed to be burrowing into the dirt. No...it, along with some other Pokémon, were rapidly making the river deeper. Some others were at the mouth, widening it and allowing more water to pour through. It wouldn't be long before the cavern below--and all of the adjoining tunnels--were flooded with water. It seemed as though the Pokémon were expanding the lake...or maybe...protecting it by hiding the underground caverns? Perhaps there were more all around the lake, and whenever something happened to one of them and exposed them to anyone above ground, the Pokémon quickly worked to cover it up and conceal the caves. Remembering what Freya mentioned earlier about Iscariot slaying all of the dragons in this land, Logic began to wonder if the lake wasn't harbouring dragons. And the mist from earlier, the mist he'd barely caught a glimpse of after waking up and before being pulled underground...the Pokémon of the lake had been protecting it from the kidnappers. Or maybe they had even been trying to protect Libra, a fellow dragon, to give her a chance to escape.

It seemed as though the Pokémon being targeted by Iscariot were having none of it.

I’m going with Freya since she is actually a nice person and has a respectable living. Amrita hissed into Reiser’s head with enough venom in her voice to make a any steel type cringe. Reiser wanted to reason things out with Amy but she had already floated in the same direction as Freya and Tavi.

A couple rocks fell from the ceiling of the cavern forcing Resier and his two flying types to the newly made cavern. As Reiser made his way to the exit of the cavern, he became increasingly worried about Amy. Kameena’s wings hit him on the side of his head and he whirled around demanding what the hell that was for. She responded by gesturing to Amrita and Freya who made it to the larger main cavern.

But just then a large rock slide fell from the cavern. Reiser caught sight of the transparent red light that claimed Tavi, pulling out of the danger. The rocks fell -what appeared to be- on top of Amrita and Freya.

“Amy!” Reiser called out after the rocks had settled. He looked for the spot where he had seen Amrita and Freya last.

Amrita, however on the other hand, had felt the disturbances in the ceiling and even thought her reaction times were slow, she manage to throw up a Psychic barrier -that was much stronger then Tavi’s one- around Freya and herself. Crying out in pain, she prayed someone would find them fast, she simply did not how much longer she could hold on.

“Dev! Kameena! Mikhail!” Reiser hissed in his low don’t-question-me voice. Dev flew into action using Superpower on the rocks, destroying them into a fine dust. After a few boulders were cleared away, Rizi, pulled Freya out of their before gently lifting Amrita out who look like she was going to faint any second.

And who the hell gave a crap about Freya anyway? The four of them -Rizi, Dev, Kameena, Mikhail- huddled around the little Elgyem who was waken.

Tavi was eying the Butterfree above, practically daring it to try and attack them, but attempting to subdue the Pokémon now appeared to be the last thing on its mind. After some contemplation, it followed the Electabuzz out of the cavern, leaving Freya to help the remaining trapped Pokémon shake off the powder coating them so they could have a hope of moving again. One of them, luckily, was a Drilbur, and since the walls here were not made of solid stone and it could finally move, it immediately put its claws together and began to rotate at a high speed, essentially drilling its way through the soil. It was a small hole, but a Lairon followed behind and widened it so most of the Pokémon could squeeze their way through. Satisfied, Freya nodded at Rizi's suggestion that they leave now, and hurried out of the cavern with Tavi at her side.

To the Spoink's great disappointment, Logic was out of his range, and when they reached the large cavern that all of the tunnels spilled into, neither the young purple-haired man nor the Flygon were anywhere to be seen. It was obvious, though, that the high ceiling above was greatly weakened. One more tremor and it would come down. All the same, Tavi knew Logic would be angry with him if he didn't keep to his word, and he knew he had to leave without his friend.

Tavi, however, was caught up in thinking about Logic and trying to connect with him at this time, and he had been automatically following Freya, who had jogged into the room and looking around for some sort of exit. He only realized they were under the weakened ceiling when the ground began to shake again, only this time more violently than before. Horrified that he hadn't noticed sooner, Tavi immediately began to use Psychic on the rocks coming down on top of himself and Freya and throwing them aside. As such, he didn't notice that he'd finally connected mentally with Logic.

There being so many rocks, Tavi began to run out of power almost immediately, and the rocks started to get closer and closer to them before Tavi could toss them aside. Then, one particularly large one began bearing down on them, and it was apparent that the Spoink could not stop it. Logic saw it as well, and he barely even thought about it as he called, "Tavi, return!" At the same time, he felt something spherical hit his chest, and he caught it just before it slipped past his reach and to the ground. He looked back up just in time to see Freya disappear under a great pile of rocks.

Reiser Honcho had a few things on his mind. The first being Kameena safety, but he wasn’t going to cut short the touching reunion between those two hotheads. He might be force back with like a limb missing. The second was how freaking fast Dev got hobble. Did he race around the nest with his children? The third being was the a storm and it decided to rain down shinnies? They were everywhere, he thought glancing at Mikhail who looked a bit happy at seeing this reunion, but he wasn’t complaining.

Reiser watched a conversion between Dev and Kameena which happen in short chips and tweets as Dev nuzzled the side of her throat with his own head. Probably about their kids, Reiser thought as he glanced at Amrita who looked kind of happy to have helped.

As the faint tremors could be felt, the love birds finally broke away from each other as Resier glanced at Freya who seemed a little sad.

Kameena hobbled over to Reiser who smiled and hugged her as she glanced at the Elgyem warily and then did the same to Mikhail.

“We’ve got to go,”
Reiser announced to Dev who nodded in agreement as he lead their way to the main corridor. The tremors faded away forcing Reiser to accept the reality that another earthquake was on it’s way. “Let’s move people, no telling if there isn’t a bigger Earthquake to follow.”

When a support beam suddenly came crashing down in front of Logic, followed by a number of rocks and dirt, Logic was glad he simply hadn't gotten around to getting closer to Rizi and Freya. All the same, it was frustrating, especially since Tavi was still on the other side. When Logic went back into the large room the dragons had been held in, he discovered some of the rock ceiling had fallen in, blocking the doorway. If he tried to get Libra to either move the dirt pile in the tunnel or destroy rock the rock slab in the room, he was afraid the power she would have to use would just cause another cave-in, and they might not be as lucky a second time. Swearing loudly, Logic went back into the tunnel and asked, "Tavi, you guys okay over there?"

The Spoink sighed mentally. "Yes," he muttered. Logic sensed his displeasure at being separated from his Trainer--again.

"The circumstances are a bit better this time," Logic started, but stopped when he realized, no, this was actually worse. "...Okay, so they're not. Tavi, go with Freya and Rizi and find Kameena, then go back to that main central room, where all of the tunnels empty into. If I'm not there just get out."

    "But--"

The Spoink could practically feel Logic glaring at him (which he was), and reluctantly, he agreed. So, as Logic and Libra set off through the tunnels, both trying to piece together where they had been so they could retrace their steps, Tavi quickly told Freya and Rizi what Logic was doing as that small group followed quickly after Dev, who had taken off again as soon as the rumbling had ceased. Tavi was wondering at how the bird could hobble so fast when said bird suddenly turned a sharp corner and, using his own power, simply shoved the door there right inwards. As Tavi and Freya followed after, they noticed that there was a light dusting of yellow powder all over the room, and the Pokémon within--of which there were only five--seemed to barely be moving. Freya made a slight exclamation and made to move past Dev, who had stopped, but was held back when the Honchkrow spread his wings wide and swept them inwards, blowing the dust away towards one side of the room. Tavi realized it was all Stun Spore powder.

Then Freya raced inside and threw her arms around a rather tall, shiny Leavanny, who hugged her back. To Tavi's surprise, Freya seemed close to tears.

"I missed you so much, Vy," Freya said softly, letting go of the Leavanny and rubbing her eyes even though they were dry. "But...Jaron..."

Vy nodded, looking sad, and Freya rubbed her shoulder comfortingly before returning her to the Poké Ball she had in her pocket. Tavi noted there was a very distinct second sphere in her pocket, but said nothing because it wasn't any of his business. Instead, he turned his attention to the surprised Butterfree who was flapping about overhead, as well as the Electabuzz in the corner. Obviously, both had been using paralyzing moves like Thunder Wave, Stun Spore, and probably Sleep Powder to subdue the Pokémon here for extended periods of time, making it so none of the Pokémon could fight back--even the ones as strong-willed as Kameena. Since he didn't have a type disadvantage against the Electric-type, he turned his full attention towards the Electabuzz first in time to receive a Shock Wave. Shaking it off, the Spoink landed on the ground, tightened his coiled tail as much as possible while focusing energy on the top of his head and pink pearl, and sprang directly at the Electabuzz in the form of a Zen Headbutt. The Electabuzz slammed into the wall behind him, but immediately snarled and got back to his feet. Before he could do anything, however, more faint tremors felt by all of them rocked the ground. The Electabuzz glared at Tavi briefly, then raced out of the room, obviously deciding it was better off leaving. Quietly, Tavi agreed.
Reiser Honcho Posted on Jul 24 2011, 03:50 PM
Reiser began seeing the benefits to having a Psychic type when it came to getting information. As Mikhail and Amy rounded the corner, the bitch -who Reiser had already fitted for a coffin- struggled against his forearm and Reiser debated long and hard about letting Dev kill her.

Amy, does she know where Kameena is being held?
Reiser asked as he struggled with his livid rage towards any one who dare hurt his Honchkrow.

I don’t appreciate being used as an Intel gathering pokemon .However, I don’t appreciate people that hurt pokemon so I’m letting this slide. As soon as we get your Kameena, I’m done with this nonsense. Consider this the last freaking time I help you, Reiser Honcho. Amrita hissed into Reiser mind before floating over to the woman who was trying to kick Reiser’s shin with her heeled shoe. She place her tri colored hand on the woman’s arm and for a few minutes silence past between Reiser and Amy.

Down on of these rooms.

Dev, untangled himself from a Dragonair before he called out to his mate. He heard a faint call that cut him like a knife. She sounded hurt. The ground began to shake causing Dev to halt is forward progress and stop his attempt to save his mate.

Reiser Honcho grabbed Amrita and hugged her close to his chest as the shaking of the ground caused some of the supporting looking structures fell from the ceiling. Separating Reiser and Logic, a huge beam -which was a fat chuck of stone- fell between them.

Reiser now with Amy and Mikhail glanced to see Dev some distance away.

Fucking cave-ins.
