Welcome to Over The Gates! This rpg is inspired by the TV Series, Terra Nova. The plotline is quite similar - the end of the world is basically upon mankind due to over population, increased polution, natural disasters, etc. Unlike in Terra Nova, however, where salvation is found in the past of another time-dimension, mankind's salvation lies in the future, in the universe and everything the far away planets have to offer.

So, this is the planet of Syshire, one of Earth's 8 colonies. Initially it was believed that Syshire had no resources worth exploiting, but it was adequate enough to serve as a colony. Ever since 2129 Earth's population had been drastically growing while polution caused the Earth to deteriorate. Scientists knew that it was only a matter of time before the planet died. And hence began a search for human colonies across the universe. It took time and effort, but surely enough one was found. And then, the colonies only grew. By 2654 it seemed like everything was under control. Earth had sadly died because of human nature - the planet is no longer populated by any living organism. Scientists across the colonies make it their mission to stop the same thing from happening to their new colonies. However, things begin to change when the camps from the other colonies begin to appear in Syshire, for what seems, no reason at all. Conflicts emerge as the Commander and those loyal to him attempt to figure out what's going on before their home planet of Syshire is also destroyed.

So, go though the cannon list, member groups, all the other info, wanted ads, etc, and if you're interested in joining the site, you're more than welcome! :]
