ANNE WALKER'S MANSION
this grand old country chateau belongs to fbi agent, anne walker. it is a bit secluded in location, but it's nothing short of extravagant. the porch wraps around the entire house, which is at least a couple floors high. not to mention, there's a corral in the back with stables and everything. yet, there's no horses. how strange.

this is the very high school that the flock attended in virginia. many scientists from itex pose as teachers in the school. problem students are sent to itex by the school's principal, so watch your back.

MURRAY'S INN
a bustling hot spot when it comes to food, murray's is known for it's friendly atmosphere. sure, the live band they hire can make the place a little noisy, but there's a patio there just for people who don't want the noise. don't worry, the bartender out there will hook you up well.

AMC POTOMAC MILLS 18
this is the only real movie theater in the area, and unfortunately, it's strangely overpriced. sure, it's nice, but with twenty minutes of previews and being short-staffed and paying high rates for tickets, you would expect more.

everyone's favorite video rental store. it offers some pretty good deals, but the late fees will kill you. this blockbuster has practically every video game and movie known to man. eat your heart out.

natural grocer is the only natural and organic food market within a few miles of town. it sells tons of wheat-free and gluten-free products as well as things like non-fluoride toothpaste.

THE INSTITUTE OF HIGHER LIVING
better known simply as 'the institute', this is the new york branch of itex. it's located in new york city, a nice, big building that barely anybody seems to enter or leave. inside is a tunnel into the sewer system, and as the doors are all locked, that seems to also be the way in. this place is full of mutants in-training or being experimented on. it's not the prettiest sight.

THE DELUGE'S HOME
unable to find suitable housing, the deluge has taken up space in an abandoned apartment complex. the quality of the place is far less than simply substandard. in fact, the place is a trash heap. everything in it is more than destroyed, and the place is far beyond repair. it's hard to imagine anyone living in here, even hybrids.

THE BEACH
being close to water sources, of course new york has a beach. this one is tranquil, usually quiet, though a lot of hybrid-fights have broken out here because of it. it's not really a safe beach. there's rough waters and rocks both at sea and on land.

the new york public library has one of the biggest selections in the country. it's prime for getting research done, and this library has access on just about everything.

F.A.O. SCHWARZ
this is the mother of all toy stores, better than toys r us. fao shwarz is the biggest toy store of all. even adults manage to have fun in this place whether it's hanging out at the candy bar or taking rides in the cloud-shaped elevator.

very, very expensive coffee is sold here. there's no live entertainment, but they play a lot of old music as well as the hottest, newly discovered artists.

this is probably one of the most popular fast food restaurants. it's popular among those busy people who don't have time to cook their own meals, or the people who are too lazy to do so.

THE SCHOOL
no, it's not really named the school, in fact, this place is so secret, it doesn't even have a name. it's isolated in death valley, california, a building that everyone seems to overlook or miss on the way through. really, they've placed it so far out that nobody can ever find it. this place is really home for building and training erasers. however, they have a large yard in the back with tall, electric fences where they set erasers loose on weak or defective hybrids.

THE FLOCK'S HOME
somewhere off in the dry areas by the canyons is where the flock lives. their home is hidden well, safe from erasers and scientists. being near the canyons allows them all enough space to fly. this is the place they gladly call home, though, they seem to be here less and less all the time.

bring your animals here to the veterinary office of dr. valencia martinez. she's one of the best there is around these parts. not to mention, she treats hybrids too.

the boardwalk is full amusement rides and arcades and little food shops. it's a lovely place really. every friday, they set off fireworks on the beach.

the most popular restaurant in the area. you can watch all your food being cooked right in front of you if you're in the room next to the huge, firebrick oven. many parties and celebrations are held here. the center room is also home to a bar.

BEALE STREET
beale street is basically party city. it's a street entirely made up of bars and nightclubs, though just a bit further beyond is the poorest part of town, and the most dangerous.

ITEX HEADQUARTERS
this is the center of all the itex branches. the location is unknown except to all itex employees. it is the place where the uber director makes all his big plans. it's where most hybrids are initially created, or at least the ideas for them are. itex is by far the largest and cruelest branch on the planet. most people who stumble upon it never come back.

WHISKEY BUSINESS
this is not your average hole-in-the-wall bar despite in giving off that ambiance. the atmosphere is great, the drinks are cheap, and the staff is friendly. it's almost always crowded on saturday nights. whiskey business has great food as well and is known for going over the top with holiday decorations, especially on halloween.

charles n mary is like the barnes & nobles of music. they have every instrument imaginable and all kinds of sheet music to go with it. they offer lessons as well instrument repair for decent prices. if they don't have what you want, they will locate it for you through their suppliers.

buttonwood has fantastic products. it's small, and it's family-owned. they sell plenty of delights, and their specialty is poppy seed and nut rolls. however, they're not open for long hours and food sells fast.

most people prefer barnes & noble over borders for many reasons. first, there's not as much 'weird' stuff as there is in borders. the childrens' area is more enclosed here, too. plus they have starbucks. nothing better than a good book and some good coffee.

EAST END CENTER
most customers have very little complaints about the east end center. it's clean for the most part, and there's a wide range of stores, catering to all classes and all ages as well as genders. you'll find kohl's in here next to stores like betsey johnson.
