Name: Marlene Maisie McKinnon
D.O.B.: 17 October 1959
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Religious Affiliation: Neo-Celtic Pagan/Catholic
Current Location: Hogwarts

Birthplace: Castle McKinnon, Isle of Skye, Scotland
Blood Status: Pureblood
Relationship Status: Single
Family History: Marley's from a large family, but a small clan situated in the Western Isles of Scotland. Her father's the eldest of three siblings, all of whom live in the same castles, with their children and grandchildren. It comes to about twenty people total, plus cats and dogs and other wild things -- so it's a very busy household. Alistair (her father) is the local laird, and oversees the castle, and surrounding towns. Her mother on the other hand isn't Scottish at all -- she's Welsh, from a moderately wealthy pureblood family situated near Cardiff (the Prewetts).

Play-by: Misti Traya [link]
Physical Description: Shorter than average, and very thin. She looks a bit petite when she bothers to fancy herself up, but for the most part she's just a vivacious and far-too-reckless Quidditch player. Her attitude is reflected in the width of her smile and the wildness of her hair -- the curlier, the more agitated she is -- and it's usually very, very curly. She gets most of her looks from her mother -- very pale skin, pointy chin, dark hair and hazel eyes. The only thing that's completely unaccounted for -- and no one really understands where it came from exactly -- is her most noticeable feature: her freckles.
Unique Traits: She doesn't have pierced ears, but she does have a tattoo of the Scottish Lion rampant on her back.

School: Hogwarts
Years: 1971-1978
House: Ravenclaw
Quidditch: Chaser

Political Affiliation: Will be Order of the Phoenix once she graduates.

Major Char. Strengths: Strong-willed, very determined, kind of dogmatic, and quite clever.
Major Char. Flaws: Short-tempered, stubborn, impatient, a little bit rude.
General Personality: Marlene is very head-strong. She's passionate, and very dedicated to the things that she loves: her family, Scotland, Quidditch. She loves conflict, and fighting, and is more than willing to go toe to toe with anyone to stand up for what she believes in. She comes across as very belligerent, and frequently condescending. She knows she's more intelligent than a lot of people, and doesn't respect indifference, low self-esteem or cowardice. Sweet isn't a word you would use to describe. She's very sarcastic, and a little bitter -- but she's honest.

Additional Information: Her first language, and the language that the majority of her family (excluding her mother) speaks is Scots Gaelic. She frequently rambles and launches into tirades of it when she's frustrated or loses her temper. She also speaks Welsh, though not as frequently and mostly to irritate her entirely Scottish cousins.

Roleplay Sample: (500 word minimum.)
