Liam is a bit of an oddball. You wouldn't guess it but he has severe anxiety disorders. This is something the man manages to hide rather well - very few people know of this... if any. It's something he doesn't like sharing and ensures to keep hidden from his co-workers and patients. He feels that letting them know this would give them an opportunity to look down on him or disrespect him: where as, truth be told it would probably make them a lot more damn comfortable with his awkward ass. And boy, is he awkward. There's always that one nerdy kid in high school that sits alone, but when you do talk to him he stutters and spurts out random facts about whales or some other crazy subject. Yes - that's Liam. He's absolutely the most odd man you'll ever know. He's awkward around everyone, he stumbles over his words and rephrases things, notes random useless facts (or somethings related ones, he's like Wikipedia. It's kinda awesome) or just freezes up and stares at you with puppy dog eyes. Either way, awkward is literally the perfect word for him. While being a giant ball of what the heck - he's also very sweet. He's kind and loving, caring and completely the most trustworthy (and trusting, to a fault) person you'll ever know. If you have a problem he's the first to try and help no matter what this requires. He honestly thinks he can help the patients here. He doesn't think of them as people who will spend their life in a facility - he wants to actually help them through their issues. His purpose in life was being the damn shoulder to cry on. He has a big heart - but it's been broken, and it's sheltered. This adds to his anxiety. Flirt with him? Oh god he'll just blush and stammer around himself. He's a nervous wreck when it comes to the fairer sex. "Yeah... I --- I mean... Like co... You know Coffee?" As much as he'd try and gather his thoughts to ask a girl out on a date - he'd find a way around it. "Did you know that caffeine can stunt growth? Not only that but it's actually proven to rid headaches... Yep. Coffee." Ah, the back story - Yes. Well, Liam's history has been rather eventful to say the least. Childhood was interesting, the boy grew up with hippies. Both his parents (Moonflower and Dagwood, "Daggy" to most) were avid... free spirits. They moved around a lot - namely because they lived in an RV. Liam was completely home schooled: Liam's real name is also Rain Dawnstar. Yep, that was his birth name - but, as soon as he turned eighteen he changed it promptly to a more fitting name for such a darn serious boy: Chambers being the original family name. Anyhow, growing up with the 'free spirits' wasn't exactly his favourite thing. He hated the way they lived, he wanted a normal life - go to school, make friends. But no, homeschooling for the boy. Luckily, he was so intelligent that when he applied to medical school he was approved. Unfortunately his parents disliked this and refused to pay - his grandfather (a doctor himself) was all the more happy to know that little "Rain" wasn't going to grow up to be a hippy like his 'Failure of a son John.' - and so, his parents now refuse to speak with him because he's 'like everyone else' - they're pretty damn mean for hippies. While this weighed heavy on the boy, he didn't let it stop him from achieving his goals. He got a BA in pshycopharmacology and has his doctorate. He's damn smart, and damn proud of it. And Liam KNOWS he can help people with his methods. While unconventional - he uses natural medications (and some man-crafted) to treat ailments and mental diseases. This drastic way of thinking landed his job here. Aside from the loopy childhood, crappy parents and all but normal upbringing Liam led a regular life. University, parties, dorms and the normal college life. He even met his sweetheart - Ashleigh, she was a doll. Loving, caring and a complete skank. Unbeknown to him, the girl was sleeping with just about any dude that could get it up (and trust, for her they could) - she was just really great at hiding it... and he was pretty naive. She only cared about the nerdy boy for his money - or rather, his grandfathers which he graciously spent on the beautiful blond love of his life. This all proceeded past graduation - once they got an apartment together her sleeping around with guys dwindled down but never stopped completely. He was still completely blind to the events. Once things got really serious (nine years into the dreadful relationship) and Liam finally got a fed up with her dancing around the subject of marriage - the whole thing came crashing down. He came home to her sleeping with some guy, and it just... didn't end well. His heart was broken into a million pieces, and he's still trying to put them back together. Which, for Liam is a pretty hard thing to do. Liam has always had a bit of an issue with anxiety and social awkwardness. Mostly because of being raised with just his parents - he never really felt like he knew how to blend in. He did his best to fit in with the crowd but always stood out. He has severe panic attacks and has been known to faint under extreme conditions. After the events with his ex-girlfriend the problems only got worse. How he even holds down a job is a damn feat of his mental strength. Luckily, he's able to ignore the stress by throwing himself into his work - which is neither a good nor bad thing: he doesn't seem to have as bad anxiety, but he doesn't sleep for days, pulls triple shifts and barely eats. He's pretty much a train wreck. William is a fairly open person - however, he does his best to keep his 'free spirited' family and his anxiety/stress disorders hidden from the world. God only knows how he manages to pull that off... He's new - really new: like, this is his first day new. He's nervous and skittish, but he's also really happy to have found a place to work. His methods aren't exactly conventional but it seems the hospital isn't either. He's a little blind to everything going on around him, he's really sweet and tries to comfort everyone. You'll see him walking around asking people how their day is going, or seeing how they're feeling - if they like the medications they're on. I guess it can't hurt that he has so many recommendations... He wasn't working at the time - he was basically a wreck. Best not to bring that up... OTHER THAN THAT, I CAN EXPAND on anything, but if it's good. great. I wasn't sure if I should add more to what he was doing at the time of the changes and whatnot, but I figured I'd like him to be new. if he can't be new, I'll switch that up. He's not only a Psychopharmacologist - but he's also a Doctor; just like one that would work at a clinic? But there wasn't room. . OKAY. BYE.

In this case, please fill out the disorder signup. You may begin roleplaying at this point. Cia's notes: I'm so sorry this took me so long to get around to. It normally doesn't take me so long, but I enjoyed reading this application and seeing how dynamic Liam can be. I also like the playby, completely fits the bill! I especially liked the history. It wasn't complicated, nothing overshadowed anything else. To think he could have gotten married. Welcome aboard!
