This should be your first stop when joining In A Daze. This area will keep you informed of the rules and of course the extra information that goes along with the understanding of this site. This is a must read area, so the beginner's guide, the rules, the plot, and the disease/disorder and powers list with the member information needs to be read. For your benefit, we give you announcements! If there is going to be any change that could affect members or potential members they will be posted in here. OTM, activity checks, minor changes, clean outs and basically everything worth mentioning in terms of the running of the board will be posted in here. Make sure you check in here once in a while because member and guest input matters and most likely monthly updates will want your opinion.

In here you will find the application for both the staff and patients, along with the canon list. Once you've grabbed the application, post in the appropriate subforum incomplete or complete depending on the status of your application. If you application is incomplete you will be given about a week to finish. If you don't understand dohtml applications, submit your characters information (which is hi-lighted in the application) in plain text and include a photo of your playby with the dimensions 154x146 and an admin or moderator will sort it out.

All accepted patient and faculty applications will be moved to this forum and sorted into their respectable subforums. It is encouraged to make changes and update your file as time goes on, so feel free to do so. Submitted applications are just a baseline, so leave room for more.

All necessary signups will be posted in here, such as a check in for patient and faculty, face claim, whos who, dorm sign ups and teaching subject/specialty for faculty only. Make sure you fill out all of these mandatory signups so it easier to see where your character stands in terms of powers and disorder. Don't forget to take a look at the lists located in the rules and information forum.

Basically, character relationships. Establish friendships, relationships and any other kind of relation you can think of: love/hate, victim, etc. Anything. Just set up a simple little plotting page, advertising your character and watch as other character flow in, or you could just post in other people plot pages.

This is where you can request a brother, boyfriend, girlfriend, past relation gone bad, or basically anything that hasn't appeared on the board as yet, that you really need for your character development. Ask here and someone, a member or guest is free to pick your request up. Guest friendly.

Gossip! "Stanley said that Greta played strip poker with him last night," "Well, my source says that Greta was with Brian," "Ohh, that slag!" We all love it and we're not above it, not even in a hospital. This forum will redirect you to a blog where you can easily submit your gossip and it will be published for the world to see, so make your gossip good! Members can also comment on the gossip as well. Let's hope your name is not on this blog.

I'm sure everyone know what general chat is. You can talk about anything here, in character or out of character. This is where you can introduce yourself, play games (in character or out of character), talk about the latest movie that came out or how you broke a nail going up the stairs and even recommendations for the latest fanfiction, or if you'll be taking a break or be gone for a while for whatever reason. There is also the graphic center where you can request graphics or set up a shop.

Where all of the old, dead, abandoned threads are moved, whether they are roleplay threads, applications or random character pages. If you would like something that has been archived to be moved back into action, PM an admin.
