If you'd like to apply for a moderator position, please complete the following form and reply here, or feel free to PM any of the admins with the information. Applications will only be accepted when there is a notice in the sidebar that mods are needed. Once all mod positions are filled, the application will be closed until needed again.

As a moderator over certain sections, your job will be to check newly submitted pieces for appropriateness. You will need to make sure that all writing pieces have a rating attached and that the rating is appropriate for the piece. If there are any pieces that are inappropriate in any way, you will have the authority to move the piece to a password protected forum until an admin is available to review the piece. For now, moderators will NOT have the ability to issue warnings, but that may change in the future.

Rules for moderators::

1) You must be an active member of the board. A minimum of 5 pieces must have been submitted by you before you can apply for a moderator position. (This can be any 5 pieces across the board. All 5 do not have to be in the same section.)

2) You must be able to keep up with the responsibility of the position. If you find that you are unable to perform the duties as needed, it is your responsibility to contact an admin immediately.

3) An admin may revoke your moderating priviledges at any time if you are found to be incapable of doing the job as needed, or if you are found to be abusing the position. Any abuse by a moderator may result in any action ranging from simply having the position revoked to being deleted and banned from the board - depending on the seriousness of the situation.
