Clifford started out as being a regular Plymouth citizen. He was married and had a son and worked as an account. He was very wealthy and possibly one of the richest people in the port city. He had a very nice cushy life as an account but Clifford was not a very good husband or father. It wasn't as if he meant to be distant with his family, he just didn't really know how to interact with them. He loved his wife very much and his son very much but work got in his way -- or something else came up. He was often neglectful toward the both of them without noticing it. He also didn't notice that he was just allowing history to repeat itself and was treating his family just like his parents had treated him.

Before his marriage totally failed he took his wife on a last attempt vacation. She died on the way there due to a heat stroke. Clifford was very well known in Plymouth as a man that was very good at his job and even seemed to be slightly charming there, he was also known as a man that could be very aggressive, assertive and someone that was fairly hard to approach. Because of how he was known, local news outlets started to paint Clifford's wife's death as something more sinister than it really was. Even Clifford's own son contemplated if his father might have had something to do with the death of his mother.

After that, Clifford began to bury himself in more work. He retreated from any human contact what-so-ever. Just work, work, work. He didn't notice that his son had been staying out longer than his curfew permitted until, Clifford just happened heard a commotion in the woods and saw wolves that didn't look like just ordinary wolves to him. The wolves were running away from something and that something was Clifford son's body.

Once again, Plymouth was a buzz with what might have happen to Clifford's son. More and more people started to have a lower opinion of him, especially now that Clifford was talking craziness about super intelligent wolves in the woods.

He left Plymouth to start living like a mountain man in a cabin the woods. The people of Plymouth started to forget about Clifford and Clifford started to have all of his suspicions confirmed about the wolves. And other creatures too. Clifford spent long days hunting and skinning wolves until a man from the Silver Moon Corporation visited him.

The rest as they say is history!
Here is his application if you want something a little more in depth.

friends: Clifford doesn't really have time for friends and he doesn't really have a desire to make any either. He enjoys his solitude but I'm sure he's made a few friends among the arcane. They would have to be hard working and dedicated to do their job though, no slackers. Also they would have to respect his authority or else. Clifford would also be drawn to people that share his hatred of the Wolves and people that also disagree with integration laws. He might also take a shine to anyone that might have a hunting/fishing hobby like he does or at least someone that might be interested in hunting/fishing!

enemies: Probably many of these! He treats the arcane like they are just there to do his bidding and to carry out all the tasks he assigns them. He also probably uses his 'miracle' (which is suppressing the 'miracles' of others until they don't work any more in his presence) just for shits and giggles. He also wouldn't get along with any other races other than arcanes or humans. He's openly rude yet civil to the different officials representing each race.

lovers: Hey it could happen! I think Clifford would be more suited to one night stands at the moment. I mean he probably he wouldn't say 'no' to an offer for a good time. xD
