In the year 2053, a French dictator named Bertrand Gaulle took over Paris and the lands around it. Gualle destroyed the city's buildings, landmarks and the civilavation. He did have a few followers, around 50 or so. All of the French people he took over didn't like it, yet they went along with it. As time went on, some of the people became smarter and smarter, leaving the area. In 2083, Gaulle was ruling Paris, yet only about 100 French people remained, the rest had all fled. Well, those 100 people finally decided to stand up to the dictator, and ambushed and killed him and his followers. Realizing there was now nothing left for them in France, the people decided to all leave as well, the abandoning Paris and the areas around it.

Wolves and domestic feral cats still populated the area, even after the people left. Now, they had Paris all to themselves. Since all things related to humans were gone anyway, it was the perfect paradise. The wolves formed packs, finally, as they should. The cats grouped up into groups called Circles, and there was no one there to stop them. Things were going well for about ten years, the wolves and cats lived together in harmony. But, in 2095, somthing terrible happened. The leader of one Circle and the alpha of one pack had a little argument over land. That, of course, had to break out into a fight. Naturally, the members of the Circle and pack rose to defend their rulers, so the battle started. It lasted three days, and, not surprisingly, the wolves were winning. The cats decided to turn to their rival Circles and ask for help. The other cats hated the wolves anyway, and agreed to help. The wolves found out about this, and got the other packs to fight as well. So, now, all of the cats and all of the wolves were fighting, and the war had begun.

The war lasted 5 years. Now, don't be taken aback by this number, there were 500's of animals fighting! Eventually, they wiped each other out. Cats and wolves died from starvation, exhustion, and just by getting themselves killed. In 2110, the decendants from those warriors came back down to form their own Circles and packs. Again, naturally, there was some competition between feline and canine, yet no fights have broken out yet. But, it's just a matter of time.
