Maria is determined to remain positive and face the reality of her future in a wheelchair, as the medical drama continues. But, through Sunita's death, she finally finds the strength and determination to walk again.

Connie, meanwhile, wants to impress the new CEO, Vanessa Lytton, on her first day. However, when there is a crisis on her ward she struggles to contain the situation.

Elsewhere, Mark wants Chrissie to find a new man but, when his match-making attempts ends in disaster, Chrissie turns the tables on him – if she has to date, then so does he.

When Archie's condition takes a turn for the worse, Faye struggles to cope, as the medical drama continues. Archie's nurse, Lauren, makes a serious mistake when administering his medication.

Michael introduces new CEO Vanessa to his team and outlines his plans as director of surgery. He is determined to prove his sceptics wrong. But, when Connie needs to operate on Archie, the first and much-hyped robotic operation is thrown into jeopardy.

When Judith arrives, Mark questions the need for a matron. But, in time, he learns that she is an asset to the team. Judith, on the other hand, has begun to question the need for Mark.

'The Hands That Rock The Cradle: Part II'

Faye struggles to cope and Joseph is determined to support her. But when Archie dies, Joseph’s attempts to help Faye inadvertently result in Faye, Connie and Ric being suspended.

Connie is determined that her second attempt to launch her robotics suite will be successful - and it is - but when Connie learns that Archie has unexpectedly died, she abandons her own launch party, leaving Michael to take the credit.

Donna decides to take it upon herself to get Oliver and Daisha together but she ends up making things worse.
