L.T.B.L, if you had not already guessed, is a horror-fantasy board revolving around the fragile co-existence between several widely varying umbrella races known as Humans, Seers, Shifters and Siren. Some are part of larger factions or families, others prefer going it alone. But for the purposes of the board, all our murderous and mysterious denizens call Bournemouth - the sea-side town of tourists, entertainment and art - their home. For the time being at least.

.GENERAL CONDUCT.All we can possibly ask is that you show a little common sense. Don't bad mouth the staff or other members; we know everyone thrives on a good bit of drama now and then but please, keep all that for in character. We don't want to see any squabbling in c-box and if we find out people are being bothered via pm the offending party/parties will be dealt with.
Minimum cussing in c-box too boys and girls, we want to look respectable for when the guests show up.
Respect is the underlying issue here, so long as you've got that all round, there should be no issues. .CHARACTER CREATION.Think of it in terms of an interview guys. Be punctual, concise and professional. Obviously we want to see some creative flair but don't muss with the form layout {it might be boring but it's a reference tool not a masterpiece.} On a board like this it goes without saying that we don't want any desperado's or pity cases, we'll be watching.
A form may only be allowed to remain untouched for 5 days before being archived.
The limit to critiques is 3, after that you may not apply with the same app for another month.
You CAN feel free to try with a different character.
The limit on characters is none existent; if you're here, you're mature enough to know when you're over-committing. However, we will stipulate that you keep ratios even. You make a girl, your next one has to be a guy, and vice versa. Exception can be made if you find someone to swap with you, so they make 2 same gender and then so can you.
For the sake of the layout, capitalize your name appropriately please and no punctuation marks.
Please be aware before hand that when it comes to canons, our scrutiny might come across as being a lot more intensive than it would for originals. Mainly this is due to canons being our little brain babies, we love them but have had to give them up. And secondly, they will be reused and called upon for future plots - with your permission, obviously - so for what we have in mind, there might be slight differences in opinion and changes requested. Don't take any of it personally! .POSTING FTW.Alright, as a general rule we very much prefer quality over quantity, however, that's not an excuse to start slacking off people and we're implementing a word minimum. 400 per post, please, we know you wouldn't be here unless you were capable of it. We know a novelette of a post isn't ideal in quick moving scenes or large group ones with 4+ people, so in those instances we'll be a bit more lax on the weight of them but other than that, we will start to crack the whip.
Our rating for 'Life' is an R, so if you're joining us get ready for blood, guts and puss. It ain't meant to be pretty, we're dealing with primal forces here! But still.. some sort of warning tag would be nice for the squeamish among us. .A C T I V I T Y.New Rule***Any players that have not posted for a fortnight will be sent a message asking what's up. You can discuss it, we're lexxi's not completely power mad after all, but so long as you understand that we'll be trying to keep things on an even keel, then it's all good. We're more likely to allow for a much stronger power where an obvious weakness is linked to it. A consequence of great proportion that puts a limit on how much a Sentinel can use their power. Include it in the sign-up sheet under the power's description. We're talking migraines, loss of energy/blood, concussion, sickness, exhaustion. That sort of thing.
As for powers themselves, and what you can and can't have, the ones listed for each race are basically like a diving board. So long as you don't stray too far, we shouldn't really have any issues with it. Still, we read all applications that come in so even if you don't ask, we might not necessarily question you on it. .MISTER D.Let it here with be known that D is no longer allowed to trip out Lex's head. It makes her confused and upset. Her capacity for comprehension of being messed with is nye inexistent.
