GENERAL APPEARANCE.

Describing Leni is not an easy feat. Just by looking at her you can tell she's definately lived a life that's for a person way beyond her years. Despite claiming German, and growing up German, Leni looks very much asian. It doesn't matter what she looks like in her opinion, Leni walks and talks like she is a full blooded German girl. She has that swagger for it. Her eyes are shapes like that of an Asian girl, just maybe a little wider. When it comes to her hair, it's definitely fitting of her predominately Japanese features. Her thick hair is jet black and shaggy, for sure. Since she's gotten here she hasn't been able to cut it, so it has gotten pretty long. People have their hands in her hair every day for her job. So she doesn't try to do much with it, mostly just letting it fall down the center of her back, a few inches past her shoulders. Her bangs sweep across whichever eye it falls, or ends up pushed back, causing a swipe of hair on the top of her head. It's better to just let it fall.

Genes, Drugs, and life on the go have made her for a small frame. Leni only weighs in at ninety eight pounds at the current moment. Her arms are tiny, and her legs are twigs. Her thighs are no where near touching. While she is naturally skinny, she is proportionate for her size. She has very mild curves, most just from the way a woman's frame is fit. The thing she seems most distinct with is her very small waist. It's all paid off for her career though. The modeling world may be working for more curvy girls with a larger set, but the corner of the fashion world she dominates is made for the wafer thin. She can fit in to the smallest of the smallest. Now only if she were tall would it all pay off.

FASHION PASSION

For someone who's life revolves around clothing and fashion, Leni doesn't seem to take too good care of it. If it's not the most basic shirt and skinny jeans then you can bet there's holes, tears, and some loose fabric. To put it simply, Leni tends to dress like Taylor Momsen and Courtney Love gave birth to a child in CBGB. Nothing the girl's ever worn is your basic type of pretty. It's hardly even feminine looking half the time. When it comes to preference she seems to have fallen in to the modernized blend of Punk Rock, Grunge, and Hipster. Luckily for her there is a far corner of the fashion world that seems pretty set in this look and she falls to it nicely. On an average day you can bet she's been wandering the scene with some shorter than necessary shorts, possibly paired over leggings with a silver studded or distressed leather belt. For her a plaid shirt is just as useful as a jacket as long as it's four times her size, which leaves it hanging off her shoulders easily. Sunglasses? Big, probably gold or black and fucking reflective? Check. Black nail polish? Got it. Chipped? Chances are. Some retro logo or vintage band loose fitted shirt? Cigarettes? Alright then we're all ready to go.

She dresses just as she is: a hot mess. Leni doesn't like to pretend that fashion is something other than pretty clothes and main stream molded self expression. Honestly if you peeled off all the layers, you'd notice that everything she wears is darkly colored basics. Her main wardrobe consists of a good amount of neutral colors, all falling on a black to white gray scale for the most part. If she is gonna dare for color then she tends to stick for blues, greens, and purples. Pastels are not really her deal and any neon variation of any color is miles away from her tastes.

Her tastes are fairly predictable though to be honest. Her every day wardrobe is just a collective variation of leggings or Jeans (long and skinny or short and wrangled), a jacket (leather or just over sized), boots, and a tank or tee. Just the way with her hair, there are enough people throwing in extensions or feathers or random shit that shouldn't be there....she sticks to what she knows and likes when off the clock. Her two reoccurring themes seem to be blue or red plaid and leather. The far corner of her closet is probably the most devoted addiction she has outside of any chemical or musician. Hanger upon hanger you can bet you'll find at least one motojacket, a bomber jacket, a dark brown moto-vest, and then of course there is the basic one....most are all gifts from designers and she's not one to turn them down. Drop down to the shoe rack and you're going to find a good amount of long legged and heeled boots, and plain ol' high heels. Make no mistake about it, Lenore is a short girl and in her occupation you better be sky high. So often enough she's hiked herself up a good few inches just to run with the giraffes she works with.

MAN WITHOUT SKIN

Describing Ms. Eulenburg? She can't even do it, so good luck. There's something about Leni that is impossible to point out, and even if you figured it out...you probably wouldn't ever get your hands on it. Between the no where near modest model, wild party scene regular, or just a sad little girl -- there is something so abstracted about the way she is with who she's around. The truth is she doesn't know who she is, or what she wants. All Leni knows is that she's a mess, and that she doesn't know how to be any other way. It's easy to see that there is something in her that died a long time ago and the deepest parts of her subconscious still revels in the darkest part of it. Light at the end of the tunnel? Your better off betting on the devil in the darkness. Mean girl? Really? It's so much worse than that. You don't have to know her best kept secrets to know that there is something genuinely evil in there.

When it comes to friends, Leni doesn't really do the whole shopping and lunch dates for missed gossip and juicy details. She doesn't have friends. She has people she speaks to. She has people she buys from. There are the people she sells to and then the people she parties with. And really...they're all the same people. It's sick to say, but she doesn't really keep people around unless they do something for her. You better have something to bring to the table for her to even take a seat. It's the same for taking on a lover or significant other. She's not incapable of loving someone, but she doesn't know how to feel any way about anyone properly. Love. Hate. It's all the same for her. Each stems from the same basic bit of the brain and she can't seem to differentiate between them effectively. She can love you with every bond one moment and hate you just as strongly the next. She treats you the same regardless. I guess that's good in some aspect. No matter who you are you get the same treatment.

Here's the thing...Everyone wants respect right? Well, if you ask Len here, she'd be the first to tell you that Respect is relative. Subjective. To ask for respect and to even consider wanting it means you are still dependent on the other person's opinion of you. It means you still care about what they have to say. It's an odd sort of honor for her to even mildly tolerate the thought of wanting your respect or even your admiration. Most the time, any random person, can say they respect her and it wouldn't make a difference. They can say they hate her and it's the same effect. Most people say they don't care what someone thinks....but I can tell you....Leni Eulenburg actually means it.

She is always fairly calculating when it comes to the people she meets and who she chooses to know. The people who are openly antagonistic really don't know how to play the game. It's fine to poke and prod, but you better not be caught holding on to the end of the stick. She's fairly good at walking out a situation with her hands clean. She's prefer to sit back and watch the world tear itself a part...and all she has to do is drop a bit of encouragement here and there. Leni doesn't know if she would call herself an instigator, or an antagonist. Even though you can bet the wolf's coat is probably hung up in her closet. She prefers to think of herself as honest encouragement. If you don't like someone, why hide it? Of course this isn't always executed in her personal practice. Most people might think she's kidding when she's 'poking fun' at you....but chances are she's probably very serious.

Her personality, her emotions, the way she works....it's so much of an enigma. She is a flat line of them. She's a blend of everything you can feel and yet she doesn't really feel any of it. Leni is so broken, and she knows it. The worst part? She's accepted it, and she does not care. It's hard to strive for better options when you genuinely believe you're just a naturally bad person.

STRENGTHS

• Manipulative: It's almost a requirement for her family and the business they run in. Leni is pretty good at getting just what she wants and needs out of people. Even if they don't notice it till much later. Either way you are pretty likely to find your way under her thumb at some point or another, if she has her way of course. Unfortunately a lot of time time this puts her in harm's way, at least when it comes to the fact that most of her friends are drug addicts. Not to mention her affiliation with Darwin. There is something so purely evil and angry in her, something so damaged...and he feeds off it. Which unfortunately gives her leverage over him that she shouldn't have. He's quicker to justify her than she ever would bother to. She chalks it up to growing up with a politician her whole life. She knows how to lie and how to manipulate.
  
• Languages: Not as useful as her first skill if you ask her, but a nice one to have just in case. Its like a game sometimes to see what she can say right to someone's face and get away with it. She's even had a few choice words for a handsy photographer or a eccentric designer, but it's not like they have a clue what she's saying. It also helps that her and her uncle can talk in private without people dropping in on their conversation. Not many people here tend to speak German that she's around. Learning English was her second language. Personally, she finds the language pretty ugly, but it's needed for all her travel. Japanese is a reluctant language that she knows, she speaks it fairly well even though there is no other better language than German in her eyes. She can speak a bit of Korean and French, but nothing too in depth. She knows mostly just fashion related references.
  
• Talking her way out of a situation: Maybe it's just a branch off from her manipulation talent? Either way, Leni does pretty well in a tough situation. She is well spoken, educated, and pretty damn convincing. No to mention she has little shame when it comes to doing what she has to do when getting her way out of a corner.

how you do the history is down to you. long or short as you like but you must make sure to give us a strong idea of where your character came from. include how they grew up and their family life, education {if any}, young adult-hood and now. you may give us bullet points but try to avoid one liners -- existing members can bullet point however the hell they like if they intend on writing it out in full at their own leisure.

NB; brand new members can bullet point but they better damn well give us an ORIGINAL sample no less than 600 words.
